Bonner actually played solid D in the first half. In the second he got switched onto Gasol and he stuck it to him. However, despite his scoring, what really stuck out to me was one sequence in the third quarter where he got two offensive rebounds in a row. They didn't score any points off of it but it wasn't for a lack of effort/ability from Bonner. Hat's off to the Red Rocket.

I can not understand why the Lakers didn't pound the ball in against him. The few times they did it was successful.

The Lakers are such a dumb basketball team, tbh. It is one of their biggest weaknesses.

First of all let me just say that I believe bonner is a playoff choker who cracks under pressure

But I have a theory on why bonner might continue to play relatively well this year compared to his usual April to playoffs choking. This year he has seen his mins significantly reduced and hasn't played significant mins unless its because pf injuries. Maybe, he's been a great regular season guy these last few years and choked from April onwards because his body is worn down at that point of the long nba season

Maybe we'll see a different bonner in the POs this year
