What you quoted isn't a strawman at all. You continued to post that the argument wasn't about basketball takes, and that it was just about how the fans are overly sensitive. GNSF needs to stop being an oversensitive . Not many people like the Spurs outside of San Antonio. When you go out into the world and mingle with other folks, like, oh, I dunno, the fans and media representatives of 29 other teams, you're going to find out people don't like you.

I don't think Simmons hates the Spurs at all. And I honestly don't blame him for trying to save face when he was wrong. Everyone does that.

From my vantage point, all I've seen you do is come into this thread, say I'm wrong because YOU disagree with Simmons's take and YOU don't like that he backpedaled after the Spurs won games in this series and are projecting YOUR thoughts onto the entire Spurs fanbase, or at least the subsection of it that responded to Simmons on Twitter.
