Nothing about Duncan's game remotely looks like PEDS. I find it laughable that anyone would even conclude that. If he came back bulked up, like baseball sluggers, then that's one thing. But his formula has been the opposite...lose weight so the running, jumping, etc has less impact on his body.

Likewise, the other dopers are people like Armstrong and sprinters. Tim is not riding up mountains in the Tour De France. His game is not endurance. That's why he's playing less minutes than ever. And unlike the Sprinters, Tim hasn't increased his speed or jumping ability. In fact, he's adjusted his game to rely even less on athleticism, like more jump shots and fewer dunks.

And his blocks are not because he's jumping higher, it's all based on timing and position. Steroids don't help that. Steroids also don't improve free throw percentage or a jump shot. Those are the real reasons Tim's scoring has gone up.

Can we please stop speculating that Tim is cheating when there is no shrewd of evidence that he is anything other than a fundamentally sound/great player?

Basketball Isnt based on endurance? Huh? Gh and test make us, the individual, the best we can be, as we start to age..

Duncan's new diet improved his mobility and reduced swelling in his joints, hence the uptick in performance. That's it.

It is an extreme oversight to assume that the only people taking steroids or other PEDs are the bulked up athletes. Steroids like Decca-durabolin promote vast reduction in joint pain. MLB pitchers have been on Decca for years because of this. It allows them to pitch more effectively for longer innings, while vastly decreasing their downtime.

HGH actually promotes tissue regeneration, not just in muscle, but in cartilage as well, not to mention the increased red blood cell count which would increase endurance through increased oxygen uptake.

I'm not even remotely implying that Timmy took anything, but rather pointing out that the "eye test" is not a good indicator if they are.

Major League Baseball has withdrawn its lawsuit against a defunct Florida anti-aging clinic at the center of the scandal involving use of banned substances by players, including New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. Baseball has withdrawn its lawsuit against Biogenesis of America, its owner Anthony Bosch and several other individuals.

A lawyer for MLB, Matthew Menchel, confirmed Wednesday the league dropped its case against Biogenesis of America, its owner Anthony Bosch and several other individuals. The lawsuit had accused Biogenesis and Bosch of conspiring with players to violate their contracts by providing them with banned performance-enhancing substances.
