McCoy has the weakest noodle of an arm I have ever seen on a QB. Why we saw ZERO of Swopes is beyond me
There's no reason to take the redshirt off for this show.

I am a huge Mack Brown fan, however, it is time for him to ride off into the sunset. I would love for him to remain at the University in a public relations and ambassador capacity. However, we need fresh blood at the HC position. We need to start recruiting real OL, who are angry and mean. We need a QB who has moxie and can actually pass the football. We need a defense that will not lay down and take it like a Vivid Video actress. We need special teams to once again be special.

Not only does Mack need to go, but Dodds and Barnes need to go as well.

This is a very soft team.
    And it's very bad football.
    The basketball is horrific also.
Baseball has passed another old man bye.

Most of the women's sports have nosedived except swimming and volleyball.
Dodds is 74. It's time for change thru most of the major athletics.
This school requires a of a lot of work from its students.
The alumni should demand more out of athletics as well.
This is a "Chizik" year at UT, when everything collapses' all at once due to a culture of en lement and contentment, despite top notch recruiting classes.

If you don't develop talent, it's useless. This is why coaches like Miles/Saban/Spurrier/Richt stay at the top of their game (10+ wins a year), regardless of the different names

Even though I chose Texas to win in the pickem thread, I'm happy that I was wrong as a Rebel fan.

The Rebels have a tough stretch ahead of them. They're off next week, but they're @ Alabama in 2 weeks, then @ Auburn, then home against Texas A&M and Louisiana State.

Chris Peterson, Chip Kelly (and his successor), Jimbo Fisher, and Dabo Swinney are other examples of guys who develop talent consistently. If Tejas had somebody like that, they would own the Big whatever year in-year out, tbh

I feel bad for mack that he is going out like this, but oh well, Bye.
He's making more than 5 million dollars a year to do nothing but clap on the sidelines and you feel bad for him? Are you serious?

    He brought the program back.
We were awful before he came, children were eaten by their parents, real suffering.
He stayed too long. So did Royal.
    So there are ambivalent feelings.
    That said its time.
How the can you compare one of the greatest football coaches that ever lived to the fat ing senile currently roaming the sidelines? DKR won multiple national les and never once had a losing season. The year before he left, Texas finished the season ranked in the top 10 (#6 AP, #7 Coaches Poll).

Last game we went on and on about basic stuff HS kids should know.
Its rotten to the core. It's so bad my wife asks why they are not tackling people.
If I had a kid who was a good enough athlete to play I would steer clear of Texas.
Even though I went there. If they are to learn the game, stay away from Austin.

i'm sure LHN is putting in fake cheering sound effects too. There's no way in the fans aren't booing the out of this team, but all i hear after every terrible play is cheering.
Is it true that they show an ad where the Turd got rants about "toughness" and "being ready to compete" a million times per game while they're trotting out a bunch of soft gots and getting blown out?

Royal was 5-5-1 his last season.
    There was a huge decline.
And these were in the days that schools could give massive numbers of scholarships to keep players off other teams.
I loved Royal. I tried to French kiss him, he declined .
    Look at Browns bowl record.

Maybe the wrong time and place to bring this up, but Bills rookie WR Marquise Goodwin is already out indefinitely with a hand fracture. It is unknown whether the coddle factor played a part as of now.

Actually they recruited him as a DB, but never offered. Also recruited RGIII as an "athlete." Thought about making him a safety or DB. er also missed out on Andrew Luck and Jameis Winston. Where did this reputation come from that he's such a smart recruiter? Garbage.

They are likely editing it out. We booed the out of them when they were ting the bed in the first half of the opener.
Was at the game and there was some booing going on particularly when they showed an add of Mack Brown on the screen. Sadly, the cheers for bad plays were all the Ole Miss fans at the game. I've never seen so many fans from a visiting team in the stands before like I did tonight...unbelievable.

Compare the scholarship numbers that Royal had available during his entire career at Texas to what Brown had/has available. We could sit a slew of guys on the bench that would be starting for opponents.

Dont get on this board again unless you know the facts.
    And
    you can, bite me
    Since you were
    just slapped
