Not sure why my fellow Laker fans are defending this move. I will always be a Laker fan but the org has done a 180, it no longer stands about making the right moves to build championships. It's a team that has lost direction. Kobe's legacy as the closest thing ever to Juwanna Mann is cemented.

Relax mah , no one is defending anything, yeah it wasnt a smart business move at all, he should of gotten like 12-15 max, but its a loyalty thing, i would of rather him get a piece of the team than our cap space. Jimmy has no option but to pay him, he just did it the wrong way. regardless hes still kobe bean, lakers dont win without him.
