Mark Deeks posted about him & said he thinks he sticks with the Spurs. He said he didn't have any inside info, but thinks the Spurs have plans for him fwiw.

Anyone think maybe the Spurs are holding on to him to include him in a trade later on? Maybe they signed him to block a certain team from getting him and plan to package him with one or more of Bonner/De Colo/Random player #3 to get someone? Its far out there but it.
Pop needs to go ahead and "rest" Bonner or Ayres to give Thomas at least a chance to play in garbage time.

Any way he could turn out to be a key player to play smaller and fix the spacing/chemistry issues so there's no reason not to play him at all...
Let's try a Diaw & M. Thomas rotation at PF ffs. Could even start vs OKc in a perfect world, defending on ibaka and drawing him out of the paint on the other hand while Kawhi and Tim (and Boris off the bench) work in the post vs Durant and Perk... In before Chump saying he's a scrub...
