Come now 8 straight?! This is not NBA2K ... no one has won 4 straight in the "modern era" MJ ran from the chance not only once but twice ...and he is the GOAT.

I call straight bull . Maybe he wins 4 of 5 or 5 of 7 but if he doesnt leave no way he sweeps 8 straight that is some childish worship tbh ...
Lebron probably aint winning 4 straight either. Heck Kobe and Shaq together could not win 4 straight.

who would have stopped him and Pippen....Hakeem would have scored but that's it...the Bulls were not the Knicks...Houston Backcourt would've gotten run out of the building....plain and simple...they may have won 1 or 2 games but no way is Houston beating MJ in a 7 game series...MJ would have mentally ed the Rockets all the back to their house..93-94 and 95-96....at best MJ wins 8 in a row and worst he wins 7 in a row...

Greg Oden is still probably the Heat's best true center in the Big 3 era. Who was second? Big Z before his body stopped working?

I dont have to make a case he never 4 peat so an 8 peat sounds crazy.
a game thread is the wrong place for this but ... MJ had two chances to 4 peat and failed to do so opting out both times.
    Still the GOAt.
just not a 4 peat champion.

Fatigue, well and the Magic apparently.

MJ came back from his gambling suspension, put up good numbers on efficient shooting and STILL lost pretty easily. His "rust" didn't change much.

And tbh, if MJ (and somehow the rest of the Bulls) is immune to fatigue--why was he not immune to rust ?

That shot clock violation is another reason I can't stand Bron's ass.. looked right at the clock and knew he needed to throw one up instead he opts to let the shot clock run out so that a missed shot doesn't up his efficiency...man I can't STAND that fraud ass

    Heat very sloppy.
They play like this in a Finals rematch vs. Spurs Pop will murder the Heat ...
just regular season but fatigue mental/physical are REAL concerns for the Reigning champs.

Liek I said still the overwhelming favorites to 3peat but I dont see a 4peat ...

I agree that is made but he does so many other things well. All great players have flaws even Mj even our Magic/Kobe.

You crazy. As close as a couple of those Finals were even against the Jazz you telling me if Mj was chasing a 6peat the Sonics couldnt of beat the Bulls coming off 5 straight les?!

, MJ really should have lost one of those Finals against the Jazz but Stern stepped in to rig it for him

The Heat are having a serious problem with that Short Roll. They aren't getting turnovers to save their ass and they also are turning over the ball. LeBron who is usually an extremely confident ballhandler seems to be having anxiety out there. This is going to be a grind.

That matters only slightly...during the finals MJ and Pippen smelled blood. MJ played poorly against the Sonics in 96 in fact he shot 26% in the finals but I still see them beating them if for nothing else to make history

How about the ridiculous 1 footed falling to the side shot he hit with about .4 on the shot clock earlier in the game.

    Stop being a got, got.

Rockets still not playing "their game."

I would be surprised if they pulled this out. This is a classic slump and will most likely be a 3 game losing streak.

I'll give you credit for being "all in" on Kobe and MJ.
But you sound like a young Lebron fan right now ...All 3 are great players but they all have their flaws.
