BRUUUUCE!!!
Well said Mel.![]()
Behind the back dribbles, nutmegs, no look passes, shoot 3s, eurosteps, dunks, sometimes uses his right, plays PG, he block and steal, is a good defender when the Lebron or Jordan did that?, and even being so ing gifted he plays team ball is a compe or by nature makes teammates better, game 5 was horrible ´till Manu stepped into the court and everytime he left Spurs suffered.
I pick Manu on my team over Lebronas Klobes and Jordies.
True talent over manufactured stars.
And he does all that with a massive nose covering his eyes I mean what else can someone ask?

El Nono with the goods! Manu single handedly turned the game around for the Spurs after the starters crapped their pants in the first half of the 1st quarter.
The greatest true warrior I have ever seen in a Spurs uniform. Bar none.
guy just makes you proud that you are a fan of the team he is on.
What a comeback season for him. Redemption feels so good.
If he doesn't, Lebron bolts. Can't see him carrying Wade for two more years.
Manu in Ginobili.... highest +/- of any player in the Finals
It's about time you took back all the BS you kept maligning Manu about this year.
And it's very telling that Hater and skull are con uously absent from this thread.
Sepito is Brother the Manu!!!! Ginobiliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii .... Barkley voiceee
He totally shat on Parker
I was nervous about the Spurs giving this one up until that Manu dunk. At that point, winning game 5 and the championship was a matter of letting the clock run out.
To the real 2005 Finals MVP (even though I love TD).
this is obviously great vindication for so many people who understand and love Manu. He has been bas ized in these forums for far too long by people who believe know about BB, but most importantly, by people who believe they understand the guy.
it wouldn't be too far fetched to say the Spurs probably wouldn't have won any of the finals they've won since 2003 without Manu.
so, for those who have hated on the guy for so long, you know who you are, and you know how wrong you are - go ing bend over now.
I've always loved Manu but after last year, I really thought he was done. Oft injured with increasing erratic play, I just wanted to remember him the way he was. The whole team, but Manu in particular, showed incredible resilience and resolve all season and proved their greatness. Manu is one of the all time greats, and I am so glad that he came back and kicked ass! Ole ole ole Manu!
If this is the CoM official parade, then let me proceed into the good ole drunken rant while threating people with a broken bottle. I'm going off on one here, because I wasn't around for last years Finals -serious family health related issues-.
Manu's last year playoffs were not as bad as some people try to make them look. He did have some issues with turnovers, but they weren't all his fault. Many times the player that had to roll, make a basket cut or move into a position to show himself open, was instead standing in the corner like Bruce Bowen did in the Spurs of old. He was the only reliable ballhandler, playmaker and scorer getting minutes apart from Tony. Manu was made the scapegoat of the collapse, when the responsabilities should've been shared among the team. There were plenty of mistakes committed by several players and the coaching staff, but the only one being clearly targeted was Manu. Of course, when you get used to years of high standards, you get dissapointed if things don't work the way you expected. But this is what the Spurs have been about all these years, if they lose and go through hard times, just shake them off and keep coming back every year. But there's no way I will allow that big piece of lie to stand, that delusional idea that Manu was responsible for the Spurs not ringing in 2013. Whenever that junk is repeated, or even suggested, I will go down on your ass like a 36-year old left-handed Argentinian on Chris Bosh.
Now bartender gimme some more of that booze! I love you all guys![]()
Classic game 5 for manu, the man is a legend
Sup
Manu will always be my first "hero"
