    Not worried here.

let's hope. I hope it's a boring draw, fifa and its favoritism.

Wait, I'm confused. It's tied 2-2, and that's it? No OT? Both teams win? What kind of pussified sport is this

    Hopefully someone corrects me.

I think these rounds are just the preliminary rounds. All the rounds after this there will be shoot-outs or whatever its called in soccer to determine a clear cut winner for each game.

    For the ignorant

    Group Stage = Regular Season

Except only half the teams make the playoffs. Unlike in NBA where more than half do

    That doesn't make any sense.
Funny thing is some took solace in losing to LeBron and the "better" team choke or not. Which this year proved was horse . Spurs were better both years tbh

The choke is the contract itself. Lakers gave a massive contract to a guy that no team would have paid more than 15 mil/yr for at his age coming off injury. The Lakers kicked their own ass in essence.

Why was there 5 mins of stoppage time, in the first half there was 2 mins, with 2 injuries and a water break, for s sake, be consistent, dont just add bull time to make the game dramatic

So will the USA and Germany fix the last game? Hope so, tbh.
not gonna happen. The NSA closed that door by tapping the phone of Algela Merkel tbh

Germany gonna concentrate on closing this one out early and calling it a day IMO

I dont buy those odds, i think its 50/50, us losing to Germany by 2 goals and Ghana winning is not a crazy scenario

Next game vs. Germany (4th Reich) will be a draw imho, both teams know they only need a draw to qualify for the next stage and to Portugays & Ghana. Even if we lose the game to Germany we'll still have 90% chance to qualify. Portugal would have a lot of work to do against Ghana to make up for the 0-4 deficit, which's just impossible imho even if you give them another C. Ronaldo, and we have the tie-breaker against Ghana because we beat them. Now it's 99% safe to say the US and Reich both have made the 1/8 finals, imho.

that polish krout saved the Panzers IMO

them Krouts are overrated. USA should go for the top of the group tbh. Them panzers haven't won in almost 25 years that's a quarter of a century. If not for Maradonna doing too much coke in 1990, them Krouts would be amongs the biggest WC chokers in history

Soccer can't have overtime because if it did, there might be like 5, 6, 7 or even 10 overtimes until someone scores. That's why they do ties.

Hey, genius, that's why the penalty kick shootout was invented.

Not in these current games, brah. Thank you. In MLS regular season games, no shootouts too. MLS has ties. The NFL has regular season ties too. I always think it's cute and funny when a regular season NFL games end in a tie and people are like "da ?".

You do realize that once the knockout round of 16 begins, there is extra time if the game is tied at the end of regulation, and that extra time is followed by penalty kick shootout if it's still tied after those 30 minutes, right?

soccer doesn't have multiple overtimes, just one overtime and if the game is still tied, penalty shootout.
