this is the only exciting baseball video ever
Because ESPN dedicated a whole website for it
www.espnfc.com
Beisbol
this is the only exciting baseball video ever
Holy I just posted this on friends Facebooks.
Why do the players wear pajamas? Wouldn't high tech uniforms be the way to go at this point
LMFAO This is EPIC! Especially if you are familiar with Cricket rules.
That guy does a basketball and gridiron football cover as well.
I can relate to these so well![]()
You will never see anything like this in baseball.. one of the great moments in the history of sports
whats more exciting, watching leo messi dominating the world cup or mike trout failing to hit a ing baseball![]()
In last weekends MLS games (9) the most points by a winning team was 2.....yes....2.....![]()
mls is to the barclays what midget league baseball in iowa is to the mlb![]()
Using MLS as an argument![]()
trying to justify a Euro kick ball league as a argument against American teams.
That Euro kick ball league is pretty good though tbh.
That's the point ...in Europe... not here in the U.S.
MLS = D league![]()

That's not a good thing... they've had to quarantine all that third-world on its own site because it doesn't get pageviews on regular ESPN.com.
Damn I remember that, every neutral was supporting Man City that day, and the best part was seeing the United fans' faces as the Sunderland fans starting cheering in response to the news of Aguero's goal![]()
Honestly both of them are slow paced and boring as . Don't understand how a soccer fan can watch a 0-0 tie and say " WOW! What a fantastic match that was". T-20 Cricket and NBA basketball are two of the most exciting sporting events from start to finish, tbh.
Which kind would I be, tbh?
0-0 is rare. Basketball would probably be GOAT if it were 1 single Half. But it ultimately falls victim to the same disease as in every American Sport = Commercials. You honestly expect me to sit and watch commercials in 2014?
I grew up on American sports and didn't watch Soccer up until 3 years ago. It is the most exciting sport. You literally keep your eyes on the screen the entire 1st & 2nd Half. No going to the bathroom, no changing the channel during commercial, no texting or answering your phone because it's Point #100 of a 200 point match like in Basketball. At some point Basketball starts feeling like Nascar: 2 hours of the same thing because there is so much scoring. There is no climax in Basketball like a goal in soccer, home run in baseball or even touchdown in football. Which is why every girl I've known has said "Just no Basketball".
Here are all the games played in the EPL in October
Too add it all up
29 matches
22 decisive results (No Tie) - 75%
11 matches with 4 goals or more - 37%
4 matches with 1 goal or less - 13%
1 (0-0) match - 3%
I agree the whole no commercial thing, but honestly I would rather watch some of the commercial instead of the backfield pass fest we keep seeing in the game. I mean how exciting can a game really be if a substantial amount of passes are made in the wrong direction. I literally only watch the world cup so I don't know if the club teams are any more aggressive. But, watching some of those world cup matches was similar to what I imagine pre shot-clock era basketball to be like. IMO introducing a shot clock in soccer would seriously boost it's appeal to the american market. And yes I know it's never gonna happen, just like Soccer(Euro leagues)will never trump Football, Baseball, Basketball and NHL in America.
Club matches especially in Champions League are more aggressive than World Cup because there is a smaller talent disparity.
I share your frustration with strategies like Tiki Taka. The only thing I can say to that is, it illustrates the endless strategies that are present in the sport. Having the best Striker doesn't result in Wins like having the best Quarterback or Scorer in Basketball. This shows how simplistic Basketball and Football are.
If Soccer had commercials, I'd probably not watch but at the age of 30 it is bad ass to watch a game without distractions and then go on with my day after an hour and 25 minutes. Far less ing about fouls and flags. You don't hear fans of losing teams complain about the refs as often as in NBA & NFL.
Maybe kick ball needs a 24 second clock so they will try to score more
Maybe baseball needs an actual clock so players will be forced to move
(of course one of the prerequisites to achieve that is steroids)
