    Wow dumbjohn....Wow.

    In college...you play defense first.
In the pros...you play offense first.

That's it!!!!!!! No math needed....It's that simple.

College Rules-you play defense first because you want to know what your team has to meet or exceed. A bunch of questions like...do I have to go for it on 4th down...can I tie with a field goal...can I win with a field goal...do I have to score a touchdown....all these questions (and many many more) are answered for you...just simply by choosing to go on defense first.

Pro Rules- It has changed over the past few years. (Key thing is an opening drive field goal doesn't end the game now...i.e. the Peyton rule) Even with the changes...you always choose offense first. If you score a touchdown on your opening drive...game is over. dumbjohn...you're the kind of guy who kicks off in pro overtime and the other team runs the kickoff back. And you go home a loser.....

I can recall the great Bill Belicheat...choosing to go on defense first one game (it was windy as ). He took the wind and gave the other team the ball...however...it worked for him. The Pats still won. I remember people (it maybe dumb btw) saying that Bill should be fired. And this guy has rings in the trophy case. Because NOBODY chooses defense first in the pros....

You don't know how to interpret those stats, re . There is a reason 99.9% of coaches choose offense first. But I'm sure in your little re ed brain it's just bc they aren't as smart as you.

    lol Dunning-Kruger
It's not 99.9% this year....it's 100%. Look at dumbjohn's dumbass stats. He obviously didn't read the line:

"Yet we have seen every single coach take the ball first this year."

Guess me, you, and EVERY NFL coach isn't on dumbjohn's level.

Still got you dummies going around in circles. It historically has not been a big advantage to get the ball first in the pros. With a small percentage winning the game after receiving the ball first and still not ending the game on the opening drive. Christ

^Dunning-Kruger Effect: Unskilled individuals tend to suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. In unskilled individuals, this bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their inep ude.

Or in words you can understand... you are too stupid to realize how stupid you are. I think it's beyond your control at this point--no way would someone continue to display this behavior on purpose tbh.

    Low Probability >> No Probability

Just stare at that for a while and maybe you'll get it, dumbjohn.

You're a ing dumbass dumbjohn. Plain and simple...a ing dumbass who knows absolutely nothing about football strategy.

Like I've said a million times...this isn't a my team is better than your team arguement (which basically never has a winner). You're dead wrong...and I'm dead right. If you can't see that...you're just a moron who obviously has never seen a college or pro overtime game.

And don't try to change the subject either...now you're talking winning %'s not being that different. You said that in college you're a re if you choose defense 1st....and that it is only acceptable in the pros. Both of those statements are so ing stupid. I mean for Christ's sake...look at your own stats. 99% of pro coaches choose to get the ball first. Why is that moron? Your logic is beyond ing belief. I mean I knew this when I was 13 years old....why can't you figure it out???

What we got is 2 major fan bases following teams going backwards. Add UTSA to the mix, as this is a board involving SA, and it's been dismal. So the line at this point is, wait'll next year. I think.

Honestly bro, I don't think it's a logic thing as much as it is stupidity on his part. He probably went out and researched those stats thinking he'd come off as smart and . Turns out he's just showing his stupidity by not being able to interpret them. A low probability to score a game-winning TD is better than no probability if you choose defense, and he can't grasp that simple concept apparently. Too bad he's not a humble re or else I'd probably offer him a helping hand tbh.
