Police believe the men are all part of a rap group called Chain Gang that had just finished its concert.
The video of the assaults went viral as police asked people to help them identify the assailants.
Those charged are Quenten Warren , 22, Aaron Whittington, 25, Andre Shephard, 20, all of St. Robert; Mark Keleise, 27, of Laquey, Ricky Johnson, 27, of Waynesville, and Kenny Presley, 25, of Little Rock, Ark. They're each charged with two counts of second-degree assault.
Last Aug. 22, Springfield Police officers learned of the assault and went to the scene but were unable to catch most of the assailants as they ran away. Officers detained one of the men, but the assault victims weren't able to positively identify him as one of the attackers.
Police later released the video of the assault and got tips about who they were.
Meredith Cole says a group of men tried to sexually assault her outside a nightclub on South Avenue. She grabbed her boyfriend, Alex Vessey, and then six men started viciously beating him, punching and kicking him repeatedly, even after he had fallen to the ground.
At least one of the men also punched Cole in the head. Both she and Vessey had to be taken to a hospital. She suffered a fractured ankle in the attack.

A teen hulk who beat his mother to death with a frying pan and hammer was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Arizona Monday.
Michael Helms, who turned 18 the same day he was sentenced, pleaded guilty in February to slaying his mother, Tina Helms Spencer, and beating his stepfather, according to the Arizona Republic.
"There are no amount of words I can say to show I am sorry," Helms told Judge Bruce Cohen Monday. "The terms are fair for what I've done."
In October 2013, the 6-foot-6 teen, plotted to kill his mother after she grounded the then 16-year-old over the phone, according to court records. Helms had forged Spencer's signature to get free lunches at school.
When Spencer returned to their Mesa home after the call, Helms bludgeoned her to death. He then buried her in their backyard shed with the help of 17-year-old friend Christian Blakely, police said.
Blakely left before Helms' stepfather came home and the teen giant beat him, police said. The stepfather was able to escape and call for help.
Blakely pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution in August.
Helms faced up to 33 1/2 years in prison for his crimes. His grandmother, Barbara Helms, begged the judge to be lenient.
There's no amount of time he spends that'll bring Tina back," she said. "She was the strength of the family. We'll never have that again."
Cohen said the grandmother's words and other factors influenced his decision.
"I have very seriously taken into account your age," Cohen said. "The way you went about this was absolutely cruel."
Michael Helm's defense attorney, Albert Duncan, said incidents in Helms' childhood and his bipolar disorder led to his violence.
"The family lived with Barbara for five years," Duncan said. "In that time, she was able to witness the abuse, both mental and physical, that Michael suffered.

The real question is why do whites live in Mississippi? You read one "lynching" story but you don't hear the local news like I do. The "Top Story" EVERY (and I do mean every) night on the news is some black kid killing another black kid. Black kids are killing each other at a record rate down here. For our population....the murder rate is ridiculous.

Dr. Fidelis I. Uwensuyi-Edosomwan, 52, turned himself in to police Thursday and was charged with 16 counts of sexual battery and 16 counts of sex offense.
Uwensuyi-Edosomwan was arrested on January 30, on two counts of second-degree sexual offense and three counts of sexual battery related to two patients. At that time, he was ordered not to practice medicine, according to police and do ents filed with NC Medical Board.
Then, in mid-February, police said that 15 more woman came forward claiming they were victimized by Uwensuyi-Edosomwan. They said the allegations were being reviewed by detectives to determine if there were any criminal acts committed.
As of March 19, Sexual Assault Detectives said they had identified a total 31 victims. They say there are also 8 additional cases that were identified as being outside the statute of limitations.

Wilson is charged with having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl from Hill Middle School, where Wilson was volunteering as a girls basketball coach.
The abuse allegedly occurred Feb. 20 during a sleepover at a player's residence, according to police. Wilson accompanied some of the girls on the team to a movie that night, and she then spent the night with them at the sleepover, authorities said.
In a statement posted on the Indian Prairie School District website, Superintendent Karen Sullivan said Wilson began volunteering in an unpaid, unofficial capacity at the end of January.
When school officials became aware of the allegations, the district immediately notified police and informed Wilson she could not be on school property, Sullivan said.
"We are providing support in the school for any student who may need to discuss this issue," Sullivan wrote to parents. "If your student wishes to talk with someone at school, please direct him or her to speak with their social worker or guidance counselor."

Lonnie L. Hill, 51, of Akron, a registered sex offender, is charged in Akron Municipal Court with rape and gross sexual imposition. He remains jailed on $100,000 bond and his case was bound over to a Summit County grand jury for review.
Hill is accused of raping the 13-year-old girl March 1 at his East Emerling Avenue home. He was on probation at the time of his arrest.
Hill was released from prison in April 2014, according to state prison records. Hill was sentenced to 15 years in prison on charges related to an April 1999 incident.
Hill in that case told a 4-year-old girl that the girl's great grandmother wanted her to go into his apartment on East 80th Street off Superior Avenue. Hill led the girl up to his attic, where he choked her and sexually assaulted her, court records say.
Hill was initially charged with rape, but entered a guilty plea to lesser charges of attempted rape and kidnapping in the midst of his trial. Prosecutors and defense attorneys in the case agreed on a 15-year prison sentence as part of the plea agreement.
Then-Cuyahoga County Judge Judith Kilbane-Koch deemed Hill a sexual predator.
