HOMECOURT IS NOT A LOCK SO THIS IS A MUST WIN .

What I don't like at the #5 spot is after a tough series with GSW (which could easily go 7) then we play Clippers (most likely) without home court once again.
For that reason I tend to like the #2 spot where we get the Clippers in round #2 with home court first.
That leaves us only one series without home court, assuming anyone other than ATL makes it out of the East.
Tornado warning in NOLA right now. Don't get sucked in Darth.
I see a compe ive game with the Spurs pulling away in the last two minutes. Winning by 7-8 with Monty getting a two year extension after the game.
Would you take the L if it meant Monty Williams would be fired afterwards?
Pelibrow's pretty good but he's not quite ready for prime time. Go Spurs!
Stay healthy and get the win.

Today I'm a Spur fan. Yall mother ers better win goddamit.
Fuk yo team clown
Only if Tom Thibodeau was set to take over. Otherwise I wanna see the team in the playoffs.
Thibs with Davis would be a frightening combination if Thibs doesn't play him into the ground.
As Mel_13 said, Asik will be the primary Duncan defender. Since this is essentially a playoff game for them, Davis will probably play virtually the entire game, leaving no minutes for Ajinca in the process, so he probably will be the secondary defender.
What are you basing this on though, their outdated weight listings? Davis now weighs 242, while Duncan is 235-240. Granted, Duncan will always have a stronger base, but still.
It will be, in the sense of having a solid shot at repeating or an outside one. It's not only the difference between home court through two rounds and none, but the difference between potentially one relatively easy series (which they'll need) and none.
Ending up 5th is not out of the question tbh. Grizz are playing a desperate Pacers team without Conley and Allen. Rockets are also playing a Jazz team with the best D in the NBA since February.
I'm basing it on seeing Timmy bury him in the post. The way Timmy has been playing it won't matter who guards him. But team ball is what we need as always.
This game basically decides if we have a shot to repeat or not imo.![]()
Duncan generally has a lot of trouble in the post vs. Asik, but I'll take the trade for leaving him on and stalling their offense, tbh..
Hopefully Ryan Anderson's scrubby ass doesn't go off, though..that would be the most upsetting thing for me, if either him or Eric Gordon go off..I'd rather have Davis drop 40-20 if they're going to win the game..
Yah, tbh..Spurs win, they're at least in a dogfight with Golden State in the WCF..Spurs lose, they have to go on the road to win..not that they can't, but the climb up the mountain is that much tougher..
