For Christs sake!! Why the are the games so late on a sunday night? I understand the need for games to be later on a weeknight but this is silly. My memory could be bad but have playoff games usually been this late on a weekend before?
Anyway, i gotta get up AT 3am so this will definitely have to be a un-alcoholic event . I just hope the Spurs dont make me need to drink tonight ...
Get this one guys!!![]()
Am I weird for thinking this will be Spurs in 5 with the possibility of a sweep in play?
To expand on that, Vegas also looks like they don't know exactly what to expect...
The Spurs are minus-175 to win the series, Los Angeles plus-155. The money's coming in on San Antonio after opening at minus-150. The series prices are where things go bonkers.
San Antonio is plus-250 in six games, but just plus-350 in five games. Those are the shortest odds. Plus-350 for a gentleman's sweep?
Egads.
Meanwhile, the Clippers are plus-650 to beat San Antonio in a Game 6 on the road, plus-300 at home in a Game 7. Either of those are great retun on value considering how good the Clippers are, but if you're asking me if you should bet against the Spurs?
You should not.
The Clippers are minus-1 in Game 1, which is where the price opened. Walk away slowly; no sudden movements.

They won't sweep.. Clippers are too good for that.
We are better if we play to our capability... We couldve swept miami last year...

Check out what Coach Pop had to say about tonight's playoff matchup » gospu.rs/1aIHQMp
As he calls his name, it always reminds me of Seinfeld saying "Newman"
I will try to get some sleep now ... but I guess it will not work. anxious for the game ....

Spurs in 5 or 6 is my guess too. Sweep would be great if unlikely.
I really hope Pop doesn't the bed tonight, tbh.
I can't see us losing the series. Pop will ride that hack a jordan if he even sniffs the game getting out of hand. It's really the clips starting five vs 10 of our players. Their starting five would have to be prolific this series to win. I'm struggling to see why most are picking us in 6 rather than 4-5. I think we own this team mentally in the POs, we take game one and the series is over.
If we take game 1, this could be a wrap in 4
IF the Spurs win it will be in 6.
