Only the Spurs can beat themselves. Clippers will either 1) come out slow and give up early or 2) come out fast and then fade. They don't have a killer instinct IMO.
But the Spurs can't keep missing shots and critical free throws and throwing the ball away. They don't need a spectacular game to win. Just a consistent game with players playing at their late season averages.

I don't think homecourt matters much in a Spurs-Rockets series considering it's about a 45 minute flight between the cities.
Pop will probably play people light minutes in game one. Might actually be the ticket.

True, but a physical 7 game series that featured an OT game and might have another OT will be physically taxing to an already battered and old Spurs team with only one full day of rest going up against a well-rested team. That matters.

Yeah, no . How can anyone not watch Saturday? Man I hate the thought of a Spurs team with no Tim Duncan. I know Manu is likely to retire this summer, but God I hope Tim signs on for one more year. He's too ing good to retire. I'd love to see Manu back another year too, but I can imagine the injuries are just catching up like to him after playing on a broken leg last playoffs.
this, I hope both stick around at least one more year. I'll be at a party, it doesn't have TV either, but will sneak off somewhere to watch it via bootleg.
