WTF? I had given up hope of more Shenmue... those are some of my favorite games ever.
The explosions look better than ever![]()
Looking forward to another round of tying enemies to gas tanks and sending them into space
WTF? I had given up hope of more Shenmue... those are some of my favorite games ever.
Holy , that is driving a battleship or a destroyer in the trailer.
Is all about that extra features now. Shenmue 3 is almost about to clear 3millions.
Not going to lie, Just Cause 2 was the only game I actually wish I played on PC because of the mods and I'm not even a mod person. I think the last game I modded was Unreal Tournament 2003 or something.I was a little jealous when I heard people were causing a ton of havoc on a multiplayer mod.
The multiplayer mod sounded good in theory, but I have yet to figure out a way to have fun on it. The community are a bunch of idiots, and rarely do anything intelligent in this game. If I had a group of people to play with, I'm sure it would be better. The other mods are ok, I installed the improved explosions, 1 mile range grappling hook, and unlimited everything. Good times.
How is the PC show looking man? I can't miss the Finals for it, it's my religion.
Bring Gaben the out
Not watching either
FF7 Remake is so fitting, seeing how I decided to play and beat the game again just recently.
Pure awesomeness.
u remember that cheat code where u get all the skill jewels max lvl and s tart from scratch
I didn't follow e3 too much but saw the Doom 4 footage and it looks way better than part 3. Doom 3 was too ing claustrophobic for me, plus the new melee looks sweet.
Fkn wanker, Shenmue was the for its time. damn the dreamcast was so underrated. Shenmue was designed by the Virtua Fighter team but you roamed around, solving a mystery, getting in random fights, flirting with cute gooks. They put out a sequel for Xbox but I never got around to it, I heard that exploring Hong Konng was too complex. It would be cool if they updated the series with today's tech.
Oculus looks pretty nice too, I bet that new Doom would be sick on it.
Since Shenmue 3 is definitely happening they started adding stretch goals.
It has 7 out of 12 stretch goals met.
Also in case you s are halfway interested, Yu Suzuki will be on reddit tonight 9:30PM pacific time, 12:30 et so you can ask him questions and .

ISNT this just a asian version of gta?
i remember my brother was playin something like this on the ps3...
What a wanker.
Shenmue is largely the reason there is an open world GTA.
Shenmue was one if not the first game ever to have day/night cycles with changing wheather.
It also mainly introduced QTEs. Now pretty much every game has QTEs but Shenmue was among the first and the one game that used it properly.
As for what your brother is playing..probably Yakuza. You could say it's the spiritual succesor to Shenmue because they're similar in many ways.
It was pre-GTA 3.
It's open world with in-game time cycles. You can basically do what you wish, but if you surpass a certain date the main baddie gets away and the game ends (I've seen videos, but the games gives you months of in-game time to advance the story). Night, day, weather, seasons all change. It was pretty revolutionary for the time. Plus there's an in-game economy with collectables that are worth more or less in certain areas. And in the case of the second game, because you move away from home to Hong Kong, you have to maintain a certain income to pay for lodging, which can be day labor, gambling, underground fighting rings, arm wrestling, etc.
None of that sounds impressive today, but then it was amazing. Couple that with some awesome fighting mechanics, a strong soundtrack, and an engrossing story they were a freakin blast. It was planned on being a long series, so they end on cliffhangers. People have been waiting for some kind of word for years to get resolution to the story.
Don't forget the Sega arcades you used to be able to play..
Yeah... there were a lot of things to do to waste time and/or make money. Plus there were a few time sensitive events (had to be done by or on certain in-game dates), or else you never see them.
I never got too far on Shenmue, I bought it when it first came out on Dreamcast.. ing Gamestop and the lure of trading in games![]()
People still buy NBA Live?
I remember playing that . Duncan's hookshot never missed. Hilarious.
I went 82 and 0 with the Spurs and a created maxed out player. I think it was the 2005 version or some .
