manu and splitter were the co-mvp's of the 2014 dallas series, and gino also came up big against both OKC and Miami. manu's game 1 performance of the finals was ridiculous. when he checked in during the 1st quarter, he scored or assisted on each of our next 14 points

Pop has to talk Manu into playing 1 more year. Not only is he still talented, but he is a big fan favorite with latino fans who go to the Spurs' games.
Manu would have probably been knocked into retirement 4-5 years ago if he continued playing like he did in 05. Look how badly Wade has aged playing that style even with the HGH.
Game 5 too. I'd rather have Manu and Green back than sign Aldridge.

Interesting that other teams are still going after Manu even though Manu doesn't know yet. Love Manu and everything he's done but there's no point in keeping him when you're only going to play him 10 minutes. As much as I'd hate it and would hate not seeing him out there I think he should retire and really enjoy his life with his kids.

Watching some highlights..Manu is pick n roll genius. He not only killed it with Splitter/Baynes (both are great pick setters) but even an unmitigated scrub like Ayres has had his moments..Hopefully he develops a fast chemistry with West/LMA..

Which is the way it should be at this point in Manu's career. I don't expect Manu to do much this this season but bring leadership to the young guys.
