Why is the Russian team banned?
Russian bball federation is under corruption charges. It's going to be further reviewed so they might eventually participate in the tournament.
From the other tweets, Marjanovic foot isn't broken and there isn't sign of a fracture. His foot is just quite swollen. Marjanovic will travel to SA where he will meet another specialist Tuesday. Spurs will bring that specialist to SA just to see Marjanovic. We will know after that if Marjanovic will be able to play the Eurobasket.
So, it's a good news and Spurs are taking this issue very seriously which is understandable with the potential consequences of a foot injury.

Russian basketball federation is a huge mess with a fight for its presidency and that's why they are banned.
Hwoever, Russia should play the Eurobasket. FIBA is just putting pressure on them. If they solve their issue in the next week, they will be unbanned during FIBA next meeting.

France lost their first friendly game against Finland 76-67. A lot of mistake on both sides of the court for France which is somewhat explainable by it being the first game of the summer.
Parker looks good though.
Serbia just finished first preparation match vs Hungary. 81:61, easy win. Serbia played without Teodosic, Bjelica, Erceg, Milosavljevic and Marjanovic of course.

What's the word from Djordjevic? Is Milutinov likely to be in Serbia's rotation during the tournament? Raduljica/Boban/Milutinov the C depth chart or am I forgetting someone?
So far we (probably Djordjevic too) know nothing. There is Kuzmic and Stimac too. But i think this year Stimac don't have chances for tournament. So, battle will fight between Milutinov and Kuzmic.
Is Kuzmic any good? Didn't play much for GS the last 2 years, but Djordjevic brought him along to Panathinaikos so he might prefer him.
Yes, he is. He played very well this game. He is fighter, can catch a lot of rebounds, good run and have long arms. In Offensive is pretty good too, so i really can't assume who Djordjevic will choose... that's annoying me, i like both of them.
If Marjanovic is healthy, is he guaranteed a spot? Or could Djordjevic leave him out?
If he is healthy, his spot is 100% guaranteed.

One Serbian newspaper say that Boban will not play at Eurobasket.
"Our team was informed on the medical conclusion - that Boban Marjanovic should not be allowed to play at the European Championship, and coach of the national team of Serbia Aleksandar Djordjevic will not be able to count on the center of Spurs."
But, this is unofficiall info, and we are waiting for Misko Raznatovic, Boban's manager, or someone from Serbian NT.

I don't like sound of 'congenital defect', might suggest that it could be a recurring problem. Oh well, at least well will get to see some more Milutinov now.
