So we're playing in Dallas without Tim and Manu? Jesus, Warriors have that #1 seed all locked up.
Did you really believe that any other outcome was possible? The entire western conference is playing for 2nd place. The east is just playing to be the eastern conference champs.

Game thread had a good replay. Watch Anderson's right knee.

Anyone think Anderson kneed on purpose?
I don't mean that he aimed directly for the nutts but rather he slammed his r knee forward knowing full well it would collide with GNob?

Get well soon... hopefully it's not a hip injury, those tend to linger, especially on older men...

Could be. He tried a headbutt before that.

Crap groin injury is a killer. Especially at his age.

I believe the correct translation on that tweet is that it was more than just a simple hit to the groin, but the medical report is still expected.
then it has the hashtag #worry or rather #fear

If they know what they are talking about, and that's true, it's probably not good.

The way he behaved, it didn't look like hip joint, or deep muscle bruise. I've known two guys who ruptured testicles, and it was a fairly long recovery - and they were young.

Good thing is that there wasn't any permanent structural damage. He would be out longer if he needed surgery. Probably a partial tear in the Groin. Will probably be out the rest of February.

This might actually turn out good for the Spurs because Manu will be rested up. Look at Manu and Duncan's number at the beg of the season. They have been steadily dropping since then. Now Manu is forced to rest.

This gives KA and Simmons more playing time to develop. Spurs have had to coup with Manu being out injured for years now.

Damn I had high hopes of Manu playing the 2003 Steve Kerr role for us and show up in playoff game.

Lets hope he can recover. But if its a testicular surgery or serious groin tear... Damn

Hardly doubt its career ending. Let Manu rest up for a month and come back ready and rested for the season end and the playoffs. Might just be a blessing in disguise.
