I enjoyed Revenant, but it's a little overrated IMO..

Room is the only nominated movie that stood out to me, tbh..Big Short and Spotlight are good movies, but nothing special..

No I didn't watch the Oscars. They had the clip of this first rate buffoon on my timeline. I remember seeing him around 42nd St. He was with some white dude hogging up the damn street. I had my youngest daughter with me. He was posturing as if we were going to mob him I guess for an autograph. Dude this is NYC don't nobody give a about you. Excuse me and brushed right past them. Ennio Morricone is a legend, just as much as John Williams is. I love John Williams but other than the nostalgia, there is nothing remarkable about the SWTFA soundtrack compared to his previous work. BTW his score for the three prequels are really underrated.
