You have the first tier with guys like Lebron, Curry, Durant.

Then the second tier with the Westbrooks, CP3s, Griffins, etc.

And then the third tier with guys like Aldridge.

Aldridge is second tier all-star, because he's a bigman. Besides the +20 PPG production, that kind of player also get you +10 RPG, rim protection and when is also a good shooter, because of his lenght, can make indefensible shots in playoffs.
