Yeah it's pretty bad that I don't think they will bounce back from it. They will still be a good regular season team but I don't think they are mentally strong enough to deal with the media fall out from this. I remember after the spurs lost to Miami they had to hear about it everyday for the whole entire '14 season. I remember Manu saying after the Spurs won in '14 that it felt like a knife had been removed from his body and that the pain was finally gone. The Warriors will have this pain forever unless they go on to win another le.

You can't definitively prove that Golden State wins Game 5 if Raymond plays. Raymond had the best game of his career tonight and it still wasn't enough.

Curry was probably less than 100%, but even a <100% Curry minus Bogut and a gimpy Iggy should still be better than a team that is playing in' Jefferson 30 minutes per game. No excuses. An all-time great choke.
But it's still not a worse choke than the '04 Yankees and '07 Patriots. And I'd say the '07 Patriots wasn't a choke, the Giants nearly beat them earlier in the season and matched up well with them.

Yeah, I would say the '04 Yankees were a bigger choke. The Red Sox beat Rivera in back-to-back save situations, which was pretty much an impossibility at the time. And then they win 2 straight at Yankee Stadium to close out the series.

This was definitely the biggest NBA choke of all-time, though.

    You're so salty tonight, Cub.

Think about Rivera. Also blew a save against your Diamondbacks.

Not at all, LeBron is among the greatest players ever. The Sonics losing to the Nuggets as a 1-seed after being up 2-0 was worse. The Suns chokes to the Rockets in back-to-back years was worse. And the list goes on.

It's definitely among the most notable chokes ever if not the most notable choke ever in NBA history.

I still remember that nite. I'd been run out of the house and was sitting behind a Staples in my Cadillac waiting for the game to end so I could go home. All the sudden I see all these fireworks go off in the rear view mirror. "What the is that all about?" I never figured in a million yeas they'd actually win.

No. They ain't my Indians. They ain't my Cavs, nor my Browns. Once upon a time they were my Indians and my Browns, but, that's gone now. I've made my peace.

I love how the physical play is what made the difference. For all those that say the league is too soft today, well the refs let them play. Been hearing for years the refs won't let you be physical on the perimeter.. Well the Cavs did it with Curry almost all series long and the whistle was swallowed..

I hope this stinging loss puts a big dent in the 3 point chucker ball era and gives teams incentive to get back to more inside/outside balanced play. Gotta have something to fall back on when those dumbass 25+ foot threes aren't falling.

The Warriors are obviously unique in what they do, but I hate watching them play. Watching guys like Curry and Thompson jacking up horrible 3 point shots, from almost half court early in the shot clock. I'm sorry that is just bad basketball.

Don't give me that "it's for the kids" , db. We passed that point many moons ago. It's okay to teach them how to flop, how to quit, how to mutiny, how to cheat, on & on, but, we're gonna draw a line at the arc?

    No.

Who said any of the above is okay? Not me.. I root for classy athletes that do it the right way. Not that the Warriors are classless but the way they play is trash.. Curry behind the back pass late in the game last night WTF? Glad they lost..
