Or a great missdirection.
Kyle Anderson made the list![]()
Wrong Parker.
Interesting... he's last in that list, so not a priority target but a remote possibility, since he's fallen out of Pops rotation. Vogel is a defensive minded coach and Kyle is a plus player on defense. Chad Forcier (Magic Asst Coach) knows him well too.
They have been trying to get better defensively and not doing well at it.
Kyle could get traded if he's not in the Spurs plans long term for sure . Hard to say right now bc Spurs have so many FA to take care of this summer and he's still in that rook deal but if he won't be reupped or earn a regular rotation spot a trade would not be that bad of an idea. Also, he's deserving of playing time. Might be good for him too.

Kyle is not even top 30 on anyone's list...![]()
Also, Davis is on the trade lists... I very much doubt Spurs would give him up, but he's a target raising trade interest too.
I agree; Spurs won't trade either player. Just wouldn't bring enough in return on their rookie contracts.
I wonder if ORL would give up on Elfrid Payton? He's obviously not great, but young and has flashes every now and again.
Orlando and Detroit are going to be open to moving anybody. After making a bunch of moves that didn't pan out, I expect both teams to blow it up.
He won't have much value. PG position is so damn saturated that there's hardly a demand.
Also, he only has 1 yr left on his rookie deal then he'll be due for a hefty raise that's hard to justify for other teams based on his inconsistency.
As for the Spurs, I doubt they'd want to give up significant assets for 1 yr of Payton before they have to make a big decision. Especially when they have Murray waiting in the wings, who's on a very cheap contract for another 3-4 yrs, who's just salivating for an opportunity.
Well as a means of getting a cheap audition at a major position of need, I can see a Kyle for Payton type deal greatly interesting the Spurs. If he sucks you let him walk and you are no worse for the wear
I think Kyle for hezonja is more likely. He's been terrible in Orlando but, has good athleticism and has a longer rookie contract. He the kind of guy that either doesn't make it in the NBA or could benefit from a change of scenery and culture. It might be worth a gamble..
The Magic are clearly tanking hard, that's why they signed Pato and the other dleague player but still it's an opportunity for him to be seen in some NBA games against better compe ion. His 3 pt shooting made him intriguing for a Magic team that lacks in 3 pt shooting. He also has a non guaranteed deal for next season and will play in their Summer League with an opportunity in training camp to make the team for next season. It's as good of an opportunity as he can hope for. Again good luck to him.
Both Payton and Hezonja are talented, young players. It just seems like a matter of development.
Payton could use some refinement, specially his shooting and cutting that hair so it doesn't block his FTs
