Houston really stood no chance in this "spot". As I mentioned they have never been 3-0 under O'Brien and only once in the last decade. While the Pats have gone 10-1 in those first three weeks the last three seasons.

The Chiefs destroyed the Texans in the playoff game last season, so last weeks game was a biggie. They just couldn't get up for this one and it was real obvious.

    Easy pick.

Now don't put too much into this, no Houston doesn;t suck and all that silliness, this was just a rough "spot" for them.

At home vs Tenn (1-5 in this spot) next up, coming off a loss.....WIN~

I hate these Thursday night games, we see everything in abstract. Nobody as bad as they look in these games. A lot of these guys still sore from Sunday.

So don't be a rookie and put too much into them.

What really sucks is how these Thursday night teams now have a huge advantage next time out with all the added rest and time to prepare.

i'll say it like it is, Brisset looked like ass to me. No excuses, no complaints, he was simply another run of the mill bqb, that is a qb who's throwing capabilities are just low. He doesn't see the blitzes, keeps the ball way too long, tries to run whenever possible, and the ball coming out of his hand is just ugly. That being said, he looked like a mature person, which is nice to see and had decent command of the offense (albeit ultra simplified) so kudos to him for that. I still can't get over the fact that the patriots just flat out eat them alive on both lines. Very promising game, I'm starting to believe that the new/old oline coach, is what this team really needed.

You ever play tackle football? You have any idea how long it takes to get over a game physically? And I'm just talking HS football, which is nothing like what these guys deal with.

Thursday night football is a stupid idea.

Sooner or later somebody will get seriously hurt, and the reason wil be he wasn;t fully recovered from Sundays game, that's what it will take before they come to their senses and dump that craziness.

Once upon a time they had the College All Star game, that was a team of college guys playing the NFL champ. Where is it now? Yep, the college kids did win a few of those games (obviously the kids all excited/stoked, while the pros just wanted the game to end)

And, it's not fair to the next teams these Thursday night teams play. Look at all that rest/time to prepare they have.

The Pats now have nine days to get ready for Buffalo who has to come there. Buffalo only gets seven days and has to travel, that ain;t fair.

It doesn't matter, quickly recovering from injuries is in the job description.

No it isn't. Taking care of yourself so you can make it a 16 maybe more game season is what is important.

Agreed with this post. Brissett is nothing special but that O-line impressed me, looked like Dallas tonight tbh.

so far the most impressive rookie qb's are dak and jacoby.
wentz has clearly been more impressive than either so far, not even close

Cassell, Brissett, Garropollo won games, Brady got rings. Can`t win in post-season with Brissett. And Texans were awful/

Brock Huard could have won those rings. All SysTom did was show up to the stadium on time.

Seen them all since Johnny U, Joe Montana and Tom Brady are the best I;ve seen. Their decision making, knowing just how much to put on a pass, reading defenses. just understanding the game.

Anyone thinking the Pats would have won all those SB's without Terrific Tom has no business posting on a football forum. We can toss Peyton in with those two in that GOAT debate.

    Brady in 2007

    comp% 68.9
    yards 4806
    TD's 50
    QB rating an amazing....117.2

The guy is an great QB.

    TD passes all time

    1.Peyton
    2.Favre
    3.Brees
    4.Brady

    Passing yards all time

    1.Peyton
    2.Favre
    3.Marino
    4.Brees
5.Brady.....both Brady and Brees will pass Marino this season.
