I like it if Kyle is aggressive
That's like saying Spurtacular would still be a fan of Jimmer even if he wasn't white. It's impossible

    it's Fathead baby !

    Michael C. WrightESPN Staff Writer

Kyle Anderson is getting the start tonight in place of Danny Green.
    Hey
    Thanks for sharing.

I hope he's bringing his 3 ball in case they dare him to shoot, which may very well happen. Shoot that ball kyle!

Kind of scared for him, TBH. I don't think he got a rhythm with that 3 ball as he should have.

Anyways, I thought Pop could go to Simmons to start, as well. But Pop is testing him early and is throwing Kyle into the pool of lava butt naked. lol

That was a nice hint too.

A lot of people were speculating Manu would start, but I don't think Pop likes breaking up the bench rotation that much and losing his floor general for the second unit.

Yeah, I thought he must've explicitly said something, because there's no way in my mind that anyone should assume Manu would start for Green.

Maybe we'll get a bag of Takis instead of Great Value chips

Probably giving RC too much credit as a negotiator. He traded Diaw for a Summer League bench warmer

He gives me hope. I just wish Pop didn't start Parker then. Kawhi, Anderson and LMA are fine for starting offense. But Parker will clog things up unless Anderson is passive, which only means that Kyle will clog things up. And that's not even factoring in Pau.

    Still excited AF.

That is something I really never thought. If anything, I thought Pop could throw Simmons there and test him early and then adjust his minutes up or down depending how he was playing.

Manu just can't play that many minutes anyways and with new bench bigs and everything, they need their shared time on the court and their chemistry to play well.

By the way, I expect the Spurs bench to play well this game for some reason. I think Simmons will get his transition baskets just fine and I'd like to see Bertans. He has caught fire the past couple of games and suits their fast paced style just fine. If the bench is firing well, I think they can gain ground on GSW. It was going to be a tough game regardless.

We'll have to watch Pau's D as well. LMA and Kiwi need to have monster games. It's possible for MVP Kiwi.

Pop joking about this game. He's in a good mood. Reminders of the first game of last season against GSW in January?

Anderson has to play 3. No way he can stay in front of Thompson. Not that he's shutting down Durant, but Durant doesn't slash that much, which gives Anderson a chance to guard him into contested jumpers. On Defense, Durant will have the night off.

I'm trying to prepare myself for the LMA postup turnovers on Draymond. He just can't budge him.

I don't see how they don't led the league in flagrant fouls with Zaza, D. West, and Green.

Ouch... I thought Pop was going to play Bertans, but seeing him in a black jersey in this practice video, while Lee and Dedmon are in white, tells me we shall see Dedmon and Lee.

Well the time for criticism is over.... it's time to root for whoever Pop has out there.... and hope for the best. A lot of lessons tonight for guys.

    Here is Simmons shooting jumpers:
