I think Bowen played a bit in the 3rd. I don't think Parker did. Iguodala didn't play in the second half either.

People really seem to fear it....
Damn....guess I shouldn't wear my Spurs Shirt around Philly tommorow![]()
Duncan ended with 12 points and eight rebounds.
we lost again?.
it's nice if we win. but don't really care if the Spurs win in a pre-season game or not. kind of sad Oberto became a casualty playing just a few minutes into his first NBA game.
i hope Pops try to regulate Tim & Manu or even the tired Parker's minutes to a minimum to keep them fresh come regular season.
Lots of weird combinations. The Spurs closed within 2 points with about 6 min. left and then Melvin Sanders (who had helped lead the team back) fouled out. That left the scoring up to Sean Marks and company and that dog didn't hunt. Oh, and Jawad stinks.
Dude, it's the boutons of emoticons.![]()
Through the first 2 games its been Ford & Sanders have performed.
I think there was a fly on the backboard.
It is Kyle Korver ... not like it was Iverson they put back in.
He's a starter -- and it's the second time this happened. So get bent and let the conspiracy live.
Some of these coaches will do that because they fear for their jobs (Van Gundy) or are new to their teams and want to get off on the right foot and give the appearance of progress (Cheeks).
Pop just has to get the new guys familar with the system, knock the rust off of the regular guys and evaluate the inactive list fodder for potential unpolished gems.
Look, the Sixers didn't want to lose 2 preseason games having had a new coach and all. It's a confidence thing.
The Spurs obviously don't have anything to prove because they're NBA champs and deservedly so.
Exactly -- and if you saw how seriously Van Gundy took the last game, you'd see the trend. It's just funny, that's all.

oh well you win some you lose some
Ahhh, that explains it.
He looks less dorky and more hip.
You gotta sympathize with Stan van Gundy. After all that may have been his one chance to beat the Spurs.
It does not matter who wins preseason games.
The Colts lost all 4 preseason football games and they are the only undefeated NFL team left at 5-0.
Preseason is just for Pop to look at the new guys and for him to evaluate talent and to try to get an idea of which players play well together. It matters not if they win or lose.
