Old man Duncan= Old man Logan
still badass tbh
LMA said in the postgame interview that if he puts his shoulder down and goes to the basket with Harden or any guard on him, they'll flop and get an offensive foul. Don't know if I agree, but that was his thinking. He mentions it about 2:20

I don't buy it; Harden is surprisingly strong, he doesn't have to flop he can just play it straight and shut down LMAHe used to abuse Ibaka but can't post a guy 5 inches shorter. He also missed three bunnies off offensive rebounds and two clutch FT's. He probably should've finished with 28 points (including that BS offensive goal tending call)
Ugh. He had the full arsenal. Timmy was terrific at doing work upfront and getting great post position. Also, so good with the one-handed hooks/flip shots. That Chris Andersen one. Beats his face with the ball then dunks on him.
Part of the issue is Aldridge's own at ude towards any contact. If you whine about being bumped and bullied the refs sure as won't let you do it to the star of the other team. Part of the issue is also dude you're doing it wrong... Don't put your shoulder into the chest of a guy 8 inches shorter that's going to make it look like you are lowering your shoulder and charging and only "LeBron" has a pass to just lower his head and bull to the basket now that Shaq retired. (Ok Westbrook might to). Establish position in about 6 feet from the rim catch entry pass, put him on your hip hook elbow out to keep him there pivot and bunny or dunk. If the double commits to stop that pass out and repeat.
Aldridge has to go. I don't care if he has 45 tonight.
I like when Lowe was talking about Cleveland's chances vs Golden State and he said LeBron hasn't been rolled in a series since the 2007 Finals. Um, 2014 Finals where the Spurs set the record for best average point differential in the Finals?![]()
Just curious, how many 3's has Pau shot in this series? He was killing it towards the end of the year. Is Houston taking this away or is it just the Spurs trying to work the bigs inside?
LMA's pretty much been pushing Capela's in all series. That's the only guy LMA HAS been able to go at repeatedly in the post.
Van Gundy made a good point the other day. Aldridge and Gasol need to stop backing down Harden and flinging up off balance fadeaway's and instead inside pivot and shoot up over the top. The only benefit to the constant backing down is it contributes to taking Harden's legs, but it's obviously not efficient.
They seem to be doubling from the weakside once Aldridge puts it on the floor. He either needs to catch it deeper on the entry (preferably with a good seal) and just turn and shoot as JVG said
Did someone call for Aldridge and Pau postups?
No, spurstalk called for both of them to be benched.
lma ballin pau ting down his leg still
