Meh, that's like saying "Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony and Kawhi Leonard". Jordan and Leonard are 100 dollar bills, Howard is the 20 worth of 1 dollar bills he wrapped them in. Howard?

How much do they expect the cap to rise in comparison to these supermax salaries? What percentage will Kawhi likely take of the cap space at 43 a year three years from now?
If the Spurs don't pay Kawhi, every other team with cap space will. I suspect pop and crew will utilize cheaper prove it players
Draymond Green over Gordon Hayward for 3rd team honors is a sham. Never seen a more ho hum season rewarded so highly (except maybe Kobe Bryant's repeated all defensive team honors).
Thought he deserved them at the time. Not so sure anymore.
Might be the only team that can beat the Golden State Warriors this year, lmfao!
Someone voted him as a 3rd team pick. That could be the difference.
I doubt it.
They have to re-sign Curry in this next offseason with just one year left in KD contract...Also, Livingston, Iguodala, Clark, Pachulia, McGee, will be FA's.
In next years, they will have to choose between KD...Klay...decent role players...
Does Elhassen have a vote? Cuz damn does that guy hate us like I've never seen any media person hate a team.
Nichols always seems to want to downplay anything Spurs, too. Get the feeling she's not a fan in the least. Basically The Jump crew along with jealous Jax that POS![]()

Actually, it would be a little over $155M, not $100M. Sometimes mistakes happen - especially late at night. The point is that it's a truckload of money, especially if you get it in $1's.
We can argue about what the order should be at the top of the list. But the one thing that voting makes really clear is that there are 4 superstars in the league who are head and shoulders above all the rest.
Loved that part. If Kawhi's new contract will help to limit some vet-type of deal...I'd say it's fine.
PATFO wouldn't fall in love with the old version of a good player and would look for developing young players.
LeBron fans about LBJ's easy path to Finals instead of having to face GSW, Spurs... "But but the East isn't weak...Bucks, Raptors, Pacers...All great playoffs teams"![]()
This was the last year. With Boogie on his team, Davis will vote as PF-forward spot next season
How the does Deandre Jordan make it over KAT, Marc Gasol, and Demarcus Cousins? Ridiculous.
And who the is voting Kawhi Leonard to the 3rd team? ing moron.
Otherwise, I generally approve.
Edit: Oh yeah, someone mentioned it should be Hayward > Green, and I agree. Even Paul George > Green. The only award Gaymond should be winning is "best lips for sucking ."

Well according to the votes your opinion is in the minority lol
The teams need to become 3 frontcourt/2 backcourt like the All-Star starting lineups. Or even 2 frontcourt, 2 backcourt, 1 wildcard (any position).
As for Kawhi's extension, this might cause the Spurs to just run it back next year and conserve cap space for 2018. Then try to get a 4-year FA signing before Kawhi's monster contract kicks in and perhaps pay the tax in 2019 and 2020 before having to (maybe) blow everything up.
It also depends on if the punitive luxury tax clauses stick around. The idea of having the max go up like this is to prevent teams like the Warriors and Cavs from being formed as they are. If the DPE existed for Curry the Warriors would have to dump at least one of Green and Thompson to afford him and Durant.
I forgot to criticize some of the selections . . .
- Paul played 61 games and as usual, was a clear cut top 10 player in those games, yet he loses out to a clearly inferior player, in DeRozan, because too many of these idiots in the media still rely heavily on points per game.
- With him as the Clippers representative, they likely wouldn't have felt compelled to hand Jordan, the clear third best player on the team, a selection over the clearly superior Towns, who should have been given the same benefit of the doubt that Davis was.
Durant will opt out this off season and they'll lock both Curry and him up to long term contracts. They'll find a way to keep Iguodala too and the rest are irrelevant. Unlike the Cavaliers, they have three decent prospects, in Looney, McCaw and Jones, the first two of which could be ready for full time rotation spots. Whichever of the others you listed aren't back, a similar cast will replace them, replete with ring chasing veterans making the minimum.
What I find totally hypocritical about the Paul non-selection is that, Durant made second team playing for A team that went on to demolish every 45+ win team for 13 straight ( the most dominanint Regular season run this year). He played 62 games.
People who do their homework gets critisized heavily. I blame twitter. Casual fans have too much power nowadys with social media.
Pay Kawhi, what chinook says. This team is paying Aldridge 20, Gasol 15, Manu 14. the team the cap.
How was Hardon the turnover machine and someone who is allergic to playing defense the only unanimous player voted as 1st team? The ?
Who gave Curry a 1st place vote? The ?
NBA should consider a different system in voting for the major awards and all nba team selections. To many weird random votes.
What clown put Kawhi as 3rd team? Seriously?
Which Golden state homer voters gave Durant 3 1st team voted and Green 4 1st place votes? At forward, ahead of either Leonard or LeBron. The ? How did aldridge get 1 vote? No all nba selection for towns?
