He isn't put in a position to succeed tbh... Benched for no reason to be replaced by a really bad Patty... Playing with a bench that doesn't allow him to grow like he could with the starters... They are handling him wrong

So he cant thrive in a bench role? How will the starters allow him to grow ? It's mostly heavy doses of LMA and Kawhi eventually. You'd think playing with the 2nd unit, going against opposing 2nd units he'd be able to look even better, no?

Not to mention him/Anderson starting can be problematic considering they really aren't 3 point threats, and Murray at all in terms of shooting. He should be able to drive/kick/create much more with that 2nd unit

Playing a bench role is actually perfect for him, especially when/if the full team comes together. Playing off Manu and alongside Patty will give him chances to improve his offensive game.

Manu needs the ball in his hands, and doesn't demand the attention that Aldridge and kawhi does

True. I think the same. Shame. He’s grown up a lot since he was a rook. Part of the reason I didn’t like that Patty deal. Spurs are getting too old and unable to retain the young talent they have developed when they are due to get paid.

The bulls announcers got pretty hyped for that Costello block. They admitted that they had to contain themselves.

Good game. Bulls are awful but a lot of young Spurs got experience and confidence. Murray super rough start but acquitted himself well.
