    So?
I prefer the Canadian system where they actually screen immigrants that can assimilate and bring value.
    AG Sessions agrees with you.

The article found two without really trying. Imagine who Trump could find if he did more than take out a single print ad asking for application by fax.
Yes, unemployed people will lie and say they will work, else lose their unemployment benefits if speaking with the wrong person. I'm sure if they looked, that there were job postings. He did hire locals too.

If you raised wages more honkies would be willing to do these jobs. Isn't that the whole premise behind restricting immigration
You're putting the cart before the horse, and not understanding that limited legal immigration is good. It's the illegal immigration that is hurting us.

Do yo want to restrict legal immigration more, because of the illegal immigration?

Why would a Norwegian come to the US to work menial jobs at Mar A Lago?
It would be a perfect job for a kid that graduated HS and wanted to see another part of the world.

I guess some people still don't understand what's an immigrant... it's somebody that moves to live permanently in another country.

They're not 'temporary workers', that's a completely different classification.

That's for contracts with the government which go on longer than a short season.
Where did Trash say his dictum applied only to govt business?

I meant a kid from another country that wanted to see the USA, but needed a job too.

is that so hard to imagine? I know there are people out there. Even the USA. I have a daughter that would jump on the chance to go to Japan if she could work there.

OK, you are correct on the word usage. Thanx for the correction. These visa's are temporary, why the big heartache over them?

You are an immigrant. Do you understand the appeal?

Yes it is. Tourist visas do not allow you to work. Temporary work visas of the kind that don't require a specialty job or are specifically agricultural have different requirements.

The current (legal) immigration system is pretty strict, and even more strict with temporary visas.

The only visa I can remotely think you're mentioning is a H2B. These are the requirements:
    http://www.alllaw.com/articles/nolo/...n-process.html

Notice they can bring family with them and you can only qualify if your employer already exhausted the search for employees in the US (which they have to do ent). Furthermore, there's a 33000 limit per semester.

As an immigrant I understand the system. This is the kind of gamesmanship of the system to hire people for less money. It's what's wrong with the system.

I understand he's a businessman trying to save a buck and a completely fake person, so I'm not really surprised, tbh...

Depending on the cost difference, I may or may not agree with you.

So what are the rules about who pays for the travel expenses? Who do these apply to?

Now I think you understand from my past posts, I am all for raising wages to a suitable point to attract workers. But I read there is only a 3.6% employment rate during this tourist season. I'm pretty sure all who have sought work in the tourist industry have it, unless they have burned bridges by being a bad worker. Now I imagine advertising could bring workers in from elsewhere. Now, who pays the room and board for relocated employee, of either USA, or foreign country?

Now I also read, I think when this came up last year, that part of the allure at his place is having foreign hostesses. It sure would be appreciated by me! I would surly be more likely to go there each year than somewhere else... You see, this might not be about saving employee costs, it might be about the character he wants his location to have. We simply don't know for fact. I don't particularly like hateful gossip as if it's fact. I don't like any gossip for that matter, and I absolutely despise people who claim facts from rumor, when there are no facts. I just see this as another hate-mongering thread.

On the flip side, if I recall, these foreign, mostly women, are coming from eastern former Soviet sates. Like I said before, I love the accent of these women. I can understand this if what he is doing, and would be an appreciative costumer if I had that type on money to spend.

    --- I sidetracked myself...

I was going to say, he probably does have business connections in Russia. I would be surprised if he didn't. He might have connections to bring in specific girls, who want to meet up with Americans, get married, and stay here. Who knows. Maybe the hooker allegation are true. I don't believe they are, but what if? Maybe he's bringing in foreign s for his rich friends?

Lots of possibility's, but we really don't know. To immediately play it of as flip-flopping isn't necessarily true, and bad form. He targeted specific groups of people on his immigration views.

I won't disagree with that, but then let's call a spade a spade. There's no point in semen shielding this stuff, tbh, it happens every year and a lot of companies benefit from it. The obvious answer is offer more money and Americans will do it, but then the price of the goods will shoot up.

This is why any kind of talk about reforming the immigration system has to go beyond soundbites, tbh... it will also help if people in the conversation actually know how the current system even works.

The legal immigration system in the US is pretty tough and expensive. The weak areas are the ones we know: anchor babies, fake marriages, etc. Don't know the solutions to those weak spots, but I also don't see any chatter about that past the campaign trail.

    You really are stupid.

Blowing up your stupid liberal dogma doesn't mean we are all Trump.
That is an amusing accusation given that nothing in that post claimed that, speaking to your reading comprehension. You should be able to understand how this action of his would look bad to independent voters.

This time around, you are correct. But he does this every year and has hired eastern Europeans in the past. Not the cheap border labor.
