I think Pop would okay with Kawhi lying.
However, apart from Pop, if you fake the funk your nose will grow.
So Kiwi wants to spend his prime years with a front row seat to watch the Dubs ring again and again?
At least he knows that if he plays anywhere else, he will be exposed as the system player and glorified role player that he is.

I never trusted in "their sources" saying Kawhi isn't injured/doesn't want to play for the Spurs/don't talk to the team.
There is no way Pop wouldn't know what happens... "CIA POP" wouldn't know where is his player and what's he doing?
Even Danny said Kawhi texted his teammate during all these months...But people love drama.

Seemed okay with Obama's carpet bombing. Should be fine with Kawhi telling a little lie tbh.
To be honest was hoping he would just sit out the whole year. He has no time to get in real basketball shape and when he did play the team was not playing as a team.
Was hoping for a high draft pick but oh well maybe he can make some magic in the post season
yup, add cp3 and spurs beat the rockets
Remember this when the rockets beat the spurs got
"Would you like to finish your career as a Spur?
"...sure."
*”Yeah. For sure.”
Some b*tches here will continue saying Kawhi lies, Pop lies, Danny lies, just to fit into false narratives about going to L.A., faking an injury...
They can't accept they were manipulated by rumors, they can't admit they were wrong.

1-Better this ESPN clown stop tweeting about Kawhi. "But but Woj and me..."
2-The "Big Dawg" says pain is diminishing which means he still feels pain and his quad isn't fine yet.
That makes me wonder if it's worth the risk of playing injured this season.
Im not saying they will beat the Rockets..I just don’t automatically assume the worst and slit my wrist..
This team you love so much has proven you wrong before and I pointed it out. Why is it so difficult to ever give YOUR team the benefit of the doubt??
Or you one of those mode fans who hide behind fake criticism so you can stomach a defeat?
Im taking this with a huge as grain of salt. It seems theres so much more to this situation.
He says he still has some pain. How the is gonna be returning "soon" if he's still feeling pain from an ailment plaguing him since last fall?
Better to be given a chance to compete with the Warriors than be watching the playoffs from home every year
He has been missing so long, that fans forget how much he could impact a game. Hopefully he's fine after all the tendinopathy saga, he signs the supermax and team recovers from this. I am not even that worried about this season bc I was already ready for him not coming back. Rather, I hope there are no recurrences from this for the rest of his career.
He said it in a broccoli-eating voice.
Like if someone said, "Hey, Kawhi, would you like to be President?" And Kawhi rolled his eyes and said, "Yeah, sure."
only idiots forgot, he was the damn playoffs mvp until the injury
This. Especially when he's adament that he won't play if not fully healthy?
Yes thinking the spurs will lose comfortably to one of the top two teams in the league is slitting my wrists![]()
This is the worst spurs team of the last twenty years, and that’s fine. They just need to blow it up over the summer and try again.
Do you mean with or without Kawhi? If it's with then I can only vehemently disagree. If it's without, that shouldn't matter for much longer cause Kawhi should be back soon.
I think with. Kawhi is a phenomenal player, but to expect him to be playing at his MVP level of last season (which let's face it, is the only way Spurs can even get to the second round) is too much this late in the season. And there's also going to be a lot of awkwardness in trying to fit Kawhi back in. The offense is atrocious and Kawhi should help but I don't think it's going to be seamless and the Spurs don't have enough time to be firing on all cylinders come playoff time. Had Kawhi returned in January the Spurs would have had a much better chance integrating him.
An 80% Kawhi isn't going to beat Harden and CP3. Yes, Harden was last year but CP3 historically owns the Spurs and the Rockets got significantly better over the summer while the Spurs got significantly worse.
