I admit to the homer thing, but Seattle's offense has been consistently awful since about 2015. Especially the run blocking, and I don't think Wilson has had the read-option threat in a long time.
Easy pick over Cowboys tbh. You’ve always been a massive homer

Tell us more
yeah but even against the best of defenses, wilson generally finds a way to sneak in points. seattle defense is still solid but not elite. cowboys offense is inept right now. seattle at home was a slam dunk
I think going forward, now that Carson looks legit and is the first guy since Lynch who can actually run without elite o-line blocking, they need to get back to the 2012-2014 era zone read option stuff because that good makes DLinemen tired and makes mediocre OLinemen look better than they actually are.
Also makes the team's own defense look better because of time of possession. Last year Seattle's defense looked worse than it is because Seattle always went 3 and out nearly every drive in the first 3 quarters of every game.
Good news for Seattle is no San Francisco this year because Garoppolo is done.
carson is clearly a better back than penny... but the seahawks felt inclined to keep penny involved after investing a first round pick in him.
they made a PR decision instead of a football decision. committing to carson was always the right move
Carson looked elite at the beginning of last year, but he broke his leg in like week 4 so we'll never know how far Seattle would have gone with him last year.
As for the Penny pick, WTF. I don't get why they didn't draft a corner or pass rusher there? I know they see Flowers as the next Sherman and all but I think he's more like Browner.
ugh...5-9 going into tomorrow
7-8 myself...![]()
