I'll give you credit you were the one asking us to stop talking Kawhi and focus on the Spurs.
Yep. YGWHI has infuriated me on numerous occasions. And I've tangled on here with him on several threads cause his KY fandom has gotten under my skin. But he's a legit fan, unlike some of these other "fans." And he's a good poster. Looking forward to moving past the Kawhitter issue after Thursday.

We’re just spoiled as fans bc we got 20 years of the best PF the game has ever seen, and one of the 5 best big men to ever play. This is exactly the difference between being a good player and a great player. Yes, LA did demand a trade after a great season but the fact of the matter is he was right. We weren’t using him to the best of his abilities. Also, it speaks to his character that he was willing to actually meet with Pop man to man and hash out his complaints. You would think that’s just common sense, but we clearly it’s not judging by what that ass did to us for a whole year. It’s just unfortunate that his skill set which he’s very good at is antiquated in today’s NBA. He’s not perfect, but Aldridge gets way too much hate from Spurs fans when he literally put the team on his back to the playoffs. Let’s not forget that Manu and Tony were on the team. They’re over the hill and Parker literally playing on 1 leg. I’m sure they greatly appreciated Aldridge manning up, going to work and doing everything he could to get them to playoffs. I sure did.
Well said! Great post! Totally agree!

Ahh, but you're forgetting stuff. It went beyond the simple small market stuff you hear about other markets.

There were lots of jabs through his mouthpiece (Carter) about not getting shoe deals because of where he was at. That he wasn't getting the shine he deserved. That the city was too small for him and that he felt stifled going out around town. There were jabs and uppercuts about SA and the fans, and there was stuff that was supposedly leaked by his agent, and uncle's business partner that went beyond that. There was a full out slime job done against the city, the fans, and the organization as a whole.

And btw, ultimately, he himself ed the fans by letting them down. By not playing, not showing up, not sitting on the bench, not doing what was expected of him in this town, he gave us all the big middle finger. And he's got big fingers. We deserved better because we would have made him a God here had he given us the chance.

Either way, this town will start getting over it on January 3rd. I'll be there to give him a piece of my mind with 17,500 others. After that (and maybe the game in Toronto) he can off to whichever team he and his representation have been planning on going for 2+ years.

Perhaps then, you can move on to stanning that team then too.

I was following and rooting for the Spus way before the Spurs traded for Kawhi. Many years before. Some people here know that's true.

    I have a favorite team since I can remember...Spurs

    I have a 2nd team since Marc/Conley together...Grizz

    I have a favorite player since 2012...Kawhi.

I guess what you don't get is that I love basketball and really enjoy Kawhi's game. It's not about him, it's about his game.

For 5-10' a game I can see some of MJ in him...the same moves...Who wouldn't love to watch it

If he leaves, quits, whatever... I don't care. Other great players left their teams too. Again I don't care. I wanna watch great basketball, great games, great teams and great players.
Not sure why this is so hard to understand.

I post about the Spurs and other players too. In fact, when no one mentions Kawhi I post only Spurs stuff.
Can you show me one example, team or player, where you posted about the Spurs with detailed analysis with video clips and stats like you have repeatedly with Kawhi? Just one.
