It's so satisfying seeing GS lose at home. I think I've enjoyed these 2 Clipper wins just as much as the Spur wins.
I will get more enjoyment off Load Management losing, tbh.

Imagine if the spurs had a closer such as Lou Williams instead of Demar. Showing no fear against the dubs.

What about Beverely, Harrell, Gallo? Not to mention the two super rookies.

, if we had Pat he would have punched dead DDR already in November

Watching the Clippers play is a reminder that the Spurs really could use at least one alpha dog on the team. The good news is that Murray has a chance to be that going forward.

Spurs should offer the MLE to Beverley and start him with Murray and White . Those three could guard anybody on the perimeter.

Bring DeMar off the bench . Any minutes needed besides DeMar's at the 3 to be filled by White or Murray.

Walker and Forbes backup guards . Mills 11th man (unless traded) . Get rid of Beli .

Hope Bertans and Rudy can be cheap imitations of Gallo and Harrell .

LMA and Jakob the bigs . #19 and #29 to the g league . Anything else , I'm happy.

Won't happen , since Bev would likely take less to stay with the Clips.

Why would he sign with the Spurs? Look at Clippers roster. They have 5 years of compe ive core ahead. They have two super rookies, they have Harrell, they have a somewhat healthy Gallo that they can keep or trade for equivalent talent. They have a scoring machine (getting old, but still). And they have cap space.

ing awsome to be a Clips fan right now.

Beverley will sign on july 1st for a sandwich and a bag of chips if that's what it takes.

I agree. Just a pipe dream of mine. Hopefully Clips get 2 max players and can't even offer the sandwich and chips.

Anyway , Spurs already missed their chance at Beverley along with Harris in the preseason .

not while this new version of Pop is here, he does not want that kind of guy on the roster.

You kidding me. Wow that just cuts to the bone. This why I don't get into contract specifics. Haha

Monty, Patrick Beverley would easily be an upgrade over Demar.

That game wasn't a fluke, either. The Clippers took it from GSW.

It makes me queasy to think that the Clippers were able to sign Lou Williams for 3/$24M with only $1.5M guaranteed in the last year. And the Spurs were able to sign Patty Mills to a straight up 4/$50 deal. If I were Pop, I'd fire myself.

    Draymond Green charge call
I wish they had included what came next. Dray deserved the charge call, even though Beverly sold it. But after that, Green just went ape crazy at the ref. It also looked like Green intentionally raked his leg on Beverly as he stepped toward the ref. And his fit just went on and on. I really expected him to get tossed, even in GS. It just made them losing that much sweeter.

Yeah, Draymond's pretty much doing his version of a step over move on Beverly while he's on the floor-- the same type of move Lebron made on Draymond in the finals that got him so upset & led to the nutshot and suspension.

The amount of disrespect Green gets away with is incredible. And to think, Tim Duncan got thrown out of a game for laughing on the bench.

Difference is the Clippers are better coached and have guys that care, have pride, etc....

Their team leader is a guy that actually defends and brings energy, not somebody that is organizing coffee dates before 25 point losses and then gets absolutely roasted as soon as he comes into the game ..

I also doubt that Doc is leading pregame meetings with a "Guys, it's just a game, basketball doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things..."
