White is not a star player. Likely to have an off night with added defensive pressure on him.
Well he's torched Jokic twice now. If they come that hard and he still makes them pay, it will take the heart out of them.

Sort of want to keep Forbes now over trading him for 2-5 better draft spots.

White's star is rising. That kid has it.

I'm happy you blessed him with the thunder.

I definitely wish we would keep Forbes and unload Patty. Team would be great next year. But I understand the culture Patty brings won’t allow it haha

Outside of Murray getting hot for one quarter in Game 2, the Spurs have dominated thus far. But, then again, there's a thin line between this Spurs team playing well and it playing at a lottery level. All it would take is something like White going cold or DeRozan going into iso mode or Forbes reverting to his scared ways for this series to flip the other way.

The good news is the Spurs still could theoretically play better. They haven't gotten a strong game from Aldridge or Gay yet. They haven't had positive production from the bench at all, really. The Spurs can shoot much better from three-point land than they did in Game 3, while the Nuggets can't shoot much better from deep than they did in Game 3.

    Keys tonight:

    1) Poeltl stay out of foul trouble. Unless the Spurs fall behind, the gameplan tonight probably has him in line to play 30+ minutes. If he's in foul trouble, Gay will need to bring his hard had and play Millsap better. Bertans is probably a lost cause in that regard.

    2) Gotta figure out a way to hide Mills and Belinelli. Easiest way to do that is to not play them together. But at the very least, Pop can't put Belinelli on Beasley or Harris like he did last game. There aren't adjectives to describe that level of mismatch.

    3) White has to just keep playing smart. If the Nuggets adjust to him, don't force the issue. Stay aggressive but there's no need to force it. Thankfully, White has off the charts basketball IQ so this isn't much of a worry. The bigger danger is White reverts to that timid/tired/rookie-wall/unassertive version of himself that we witnessed at the beginning and end of the regular season.
we saw some of that in the 2nd half last game, Pop had white and derozen in except for like 1 minute in the 4th
