Lonnie's athleticism is on display dude is way quicker than anyone else on the court. But his touch isn't there. He's getting himself into trouble by overpenetrating and not having a plan what to do when he get there.
Does Lonnie Walker ever actually guard anyone?
When the shot goes up he's all alone (no one within sight) somewhere between the top of the key and halfcourt.
He's playing a one-man zone against the hanging scoreboard.
Lonnie plays with a lot of confidence and swag...at this level. Now we just need it to translate to the NBA level.
I'm starting to see why some were down on Lonnie already. Lmao. Dude is an athletic Marvel but just doesn't seem to know where to be or simple basketball stuff like watching your back while handling the ball on the break
