Mentioned it before, a war with Iran pretty much assures Trump* re-election. I don’t think a single president in US history has lost a re-election bid with an active, ongoing war (correct me if I’m wrong).

US forces have killed and displaced far more people in the region than Iran, tbh.

We had no good reason to invade Iraq in the first place, nor to stay in Afghanistan for 18 years.

Nor have drone strikes in half a dozen other countries we haven't declared war against made the USA, or the countries we bombed, any safer.

On the contrary, military occupation and attacks are destabilozing and breed generational enmity.
