I am fairly certain that as long as LMA is in the starting lineup missing open shots, not rebounding, and playing some of the worst defense I have ever seen, the spurs will never start the game with any type of lead

Actually it is better. Not good by any means, but better. I remember games last year, when spurs were down 15 on a regular basis after 1st quarter and having horrible 3rd quarters.
Still, it would be nice to start with a lead for once, instead of running behind by 10.
