Yeah, agree completely. He's wildly overrated here. A rugged energy guy with some good skills but a much lower ceiling than most admit. Wasn't he teammates with Herro? Herro looks like he can do so much.
He was a free agent. The Spurs did great to get a draft pick and a potential something else for Young.I mean Demar wasn’t outstanding but how did we only get aminu and young for him in a trade?
At the time he was traded, we were lucky to get ANYTHING for him.
PATFO should have traded him when he had higher value instead of literally being a free agent who could walk away for free, but that's all hindsight at this point.
The fanbase is just hungry for another star so they're attaching unrealistic expectations on every Spurs youngster that shows some hint of promise. The people that thought Keldon would be a star are already moving on to Primo
Maybe we should give Samanic 11 more minutes so that he can double his team-worst -15.

Problem with Young is he's much smaller than I thought. Without Poeltl, this team has no shotblocking at all. And I don't think a veteran glue guy is going to do anything for this team whatsoever. I hope Thad gets moved for his sake.

Meh. I think the plus/minus sucked because everyone sucked. He still should get some extended time to actually see him play. Believe it or not, he was far from the tiest player on the court.

Keldon is a good player. But he's no star. That said, if you had a great player here, he would be a nice complement. For example, if he played with LeBron, he'd get 5 dunks every night. He even worked pretty good with DDR. But without a creator, he's pretty bad.
Murray was just as bad too considering he was -13 in the 1st half. Herro abused him so badly that Pop sat him the rest of the 2nd quarter
That may be the most depressing part since he was playing with projected starters.

I am actually high on Primo’s shooting ability. I do think he has the highest potential of anyone in the team based on how young he is, his shooting ability and feel for the game at his age. Whether he can deliver on that promise who knows? He’s certainly not an athletic freak, but he’s strong and will get naturally stronger bc he’s a baby basically. I am high on him. Of course he may get more playing time and show me it was all a mirage based on my hope for him. I do think he may turn out to not be a number 1 star and be more like a complementary number 2 like Middleton. That’s still higher upside than anyone in the team…
Yeah mine too. Had to move to another stream. Crappy quality, but you know, beginning to care less at this point....
