Missing so many good looks and easy layups
Forbes shooting everytime he touches the ball. Fck!
Missing so many good looks and easy layups
I also think Primo is going to grow into a monster physically.
Forbes doesn’t bring nothing to this team.
Forbes is so ing bad made me missed Danny Green
Forbes is now hesitating to shoot, if he is doing that then he should not be on the floor.
Why the is Doc still playing his starters
Murray getting his Westchuck on
Either that or he hates Forbes and rather cuts in to dunk than assist a wide open at the rim Forbes to get his double double.
Crazy Spurs have lost by more than this multiple times this season with a full roster lol. This team they had tonight did what they could tbh.
dont stand a chance with all these guys out with covid protocols. Murray is out there like

Good loss tbh. Keep the tank rollin’.
Poodle was scared out there against Joel!! Watch that dude!
All aboard.

Jakob getting into foul trouble immediately ended tonight’s game. The Philly announcers were babbling on about how Philly dominated all night. Really? Because I saw a pretty even performance after that first quarter.
spurs should have done the same to the re traitor kawhitter
There would have been a fighting chance if someone other than Murray created shots for the team. With Primo in foul trouble early, he was our only hope. Murray blew up in the 3rd Q but then he started getting double teamed. Primo then showed up a little, but it was too little, too late.
Really doh ? his 6 TOs and 13 missed shots would make it very hard for anyone else to create since he dominated the ball when on the court.
Could only watch the first half as i had to get to work. Murray's running of the offense was subpar for his standards and certainly from what we've seen from him this season. The team couldnt get into any rhythm or cohesion . Atleast in the first half, he was a big reason for why. Kept driving into crowds and making passes to no-one.
I’m not dismissing Murray’s atrocious 1Q. Bill and Sean were saying all night the team didn’t have any shootaround or practice beforehand. It’s simply hard to pin it all on Murray when he has two new starters with him in the line-up who have barely played with one another going against a seasoned defense in Philly who has had 30 games of experience. Like I said in the first page, it isn’t Murray’s game to carry the whole offense if he has guys around him that aren’t going to perform well.
Once they started getting familiar with each other, the offense started to look as good as it could be given the cir stance. The second half looked a lot different.
I said they “had a fighting chance” because even after the mess in the first quarter, they got Phillys lead down to 10 or 11 in the third quarter. Someone else stepping up with the ball would have helped. Lonnie did a little, but they needed more.

Yup too many TO's in the 1st qtr alone that created the big lead, albeit Spurs caught up but not enough to overcome with too much Embiid. I hate to pick on Poeltl again, but him getting in early foul trouble was already expected. I know it's Embiid but this happens too often, and last night he had a big enough KBD to help (for anyone blaming it was Keldon's too short is the reason). Partly true, but more on Poeltl's on-man defense against quality bigs. He disappears. Those crazy open shots from double-team. I know Spurs played GLeaguers, but the Sixers didn't really play that great and could've been a winnable game. I think Spurs could've won with the guys healthy, knowing better to double-team with better communications, and defender in White and Vassell, because that Brynn leaving his man for an open basket was just plain terrible.
I would've expected Murray to be a little more selfish in the 1st quarter at least to set-up the tempo. I would nof blame him if he chuck shots, franchise players would in those situations, instead it was TO after another trying to find a guy who are not SL regulars. The tempo was just off, off the bat. As the "head of the snake," I would blame Murray andshould own it for not giving his team a better chance to win.
KBD I'm really liking him as starting PF over Keldon. I think him and Vassell would be great help defense for Poeltl. And KBD is a better cover against bigger PF's and can also drain the 3, granted Keldon has been shooting the lights out at 3. Still I don't other teams are respecting his shots. Keldon is just not a better defender at PF and SF than KBD and Vassell.
Primo would be a tenacious sidekick for DJM. Primo taking those charges at that age? Plus he has better reach? If tgey can put DJM, Primo, Vassell, KBD and Poeltl together? I'd play that defense against anybody.
Just was able to watch the game. Some quick thoughts:
-Murray was pressing, trying to do too much (and dare I say, showboating a bit?). His numbers look good on the stat sheet (27, 5, and 9) but he continues to do it on bad efficiency and generally just called his own number too much. Also had a lot of sloppy passes where he was just throwing it into defenders. It was encouraging to see him hit some threes...but after he saw a couple go in, he started chucking. I've seen the Westbrook comparisons thrown around, and I don't consider that a compliment.
-Poeltl continues to struggle with foul trouble. We can't afford for our best center to get in foul trouble two minutes into the game against a force like Embiid. He eventually put it together though, finished with a nice night (anytime he shoots 75% from the FT line, that's a win)
-Walker still showing his Jekyll and Hyde impression. Makes some good reads and highlight plays, then follows it up with missed defensive assignments and bonehead turnovers.
-Primo looked confident and steady in his first start, even though he didn't do anything that really stands out. Played in the flow, hit some shots, played hard on defense even if the results weren't always great. Tonight showed that he isn't going to come in and be the savior if he gets more minutes, but I'd like to see him get more opportunity.
-Forbes....ugh. He's an empty calorie player even when he is making shots, but watching him shoot 3/14 with his usual terrible defense is like eating dirt. Pop obviously wanted him to help double Embiid and he couldn't even get that right.
