I like Nash but being a coach also means massaging the ego’s of the divas. I know Nash was a rookie coach but he’s hofer as a player so he dies have credibility
The thing is I’m not sure his FO would have let him go against KD and Kyrie, he was stuck.

That’s a guard/forward move. I rarely saw a center of even a power forward doing this.

    Wembanyama is a small forward.

Maybe it's the build, but also the fluidity- but sort of reminds me of early Iceman

And why don't they put a big on him in practice- he's shooting over that guy uncontested...

That a joke? (That's Zach Collins defending him)

The guy is just too tall, we always have the feeling he’s guarded by midgets

That would give headache to any opposing coach. How many bigs can keep up with that move?

Miami should really turn that Lowery deal into depth after their disastrous off-season. Under the cir stances, Doug and Graham are not bad options honestly.

Spurs need to get rid of McDermott simply because he's raising the average age of the team too much.

I don't think I'd move McBuckets, to be honest. His locker room presence and role just as a veteran is indispensible right now.

It's definitely a business, but you get the idea that the Spurs like having Doug around, especially with such a young team.

Anyone know if that scrimmage on Saturday is going to be on the Spurs app or something?

They ran that play for Tim a lot when he moved off the block later in his career.

Ok, maybe, I don’t remember that, but as much as I love Duncan, he probably wasn’t that fluid.

Oh, I agree. Tim was a true big. He would come to a full stop before rising up to shoot. The Spurs do keep plays in their book for years, or even decades, though. They’ve been running hammer and floppy action since their retool in 2011.

I think it was the training camp roster it listed Birch at 6'8". Kind of smallish for a center.
