Man, I know Spurs making the playoffs and getting Wemby experience would be great and all, but I'm hoping they find some way to tank out the season in the end. Spurs are a prospect away from a dynasty-level core, and getting it next year when Wemby is youngest would be incredible...

And I don't beleive their record would that bad that they statistically would have a great shot at a really high pick assuming there's actually a potential game changer in next year draft... And I like what I'm seeing from Devin and Keldon tbh.

Wemby is unreal. His impact on defense is laughable. There were a couple of steals by other Spurs because the Raptors were avoiding Wemby's side of the court.
His assimilation of the NBA game is as fast as I've ever seen in my 5 decades of watching the NBA.
I liked Pop's lineups so far. It kept Toronto on their toes and chemistry is healing starting to happen amongst the many rotations.
Nah, my guy. A reason the Spurs making the playoffs this year would be because another guy stepped up to establish himself as a worthy #2 or #3 guy (depending on if Vassell is already #2). If they make it, next year the headline won’t be just about Wemby… it will be how the Spurs have one of the best young core that made it to the playoffs the year before. It also means everyone increased their trade value to its peak. All of that is better than landing another prospect who has as much uncertainty developing as any other prospect would. Putting Wemby’s future in that basket is a bad idea, IMO.

With how good Wemby looks right now they're not getting anyone on his timeline in the draft. Could be time to cash in those picks for a star this trade deadline or maybe this summer.

I don’t know how that bodes with Wemby. The kid has expressed he likes to win. Plus having a losing record affects his legacy as a rookie phenom, ROTY, impact on his 1st year, etc. I’m sure Pop would like to please and will help his franchise player build his legacy and a Spur basketball history
Imo, Toronto is arguably the worst roster in the league if we're talking about offense. Their spacing is straight from the 80s.
