How about Bronny James? Could probably trade him for Knecht.
48th makes sense on James. The spectacle of James would put San Antonio in the limelight every game. Whole nation will tune in to see how he does on top of the tall player they got last year from overseas.

Rumor online is that Kolek will probably go undrafted because he scored a 7 on his AIQ test and that's truly illiterate... as in, actually unable to read, not figuratively.

With Tre Jones only having one more season under contract I think drafting one of the available PGs and letting him acclimate next season makes a ton of sense. Either Kolek or Shead could be that guy. He can play the Devontae' Graham role next season and (hopefully) step into the backup job in year 2. Having a ready-to-go option at backup PG would allow us to either trade away Tre at the deadline this season or just let him walk thus freeing up even more cap space in 2025.

Enrique freeman is someone to watch out for, undersized but the spurs love those underdogs that work there way up.

I want a shooter for one of the picks: One of the Jaylens, one of the Cams, Reeves, etc.

For the other I want a swing on a big man (who can also shoot): Tyler Smith or Ulrich Chomche.

With the RC-Kansas connection and the Spurs' lack of shooting, Furphy makes so much sense.

But they'll have to sweeten the pot if they want to get him.

I'm all for taking Furphy but... 1. he has to be there 2. the spurs have to select him. 3. The spurs have to not trade him away.

Evidently the Spurs want their #35 pick to take a two-way contract.

I guess that means they would want #48 to do that too, unless they just trade that pick off.

    What are they doing?!

Furphy please we need shooting. Either that or Christie or Wells

But Tyler Smith may be the first G League guy I'm high on ever. Smith would be great in that PF spot or maybe Klintman

Spurs are only going to draft players who agree to a two-way contract, so we can keep Barlow and Cissoko on the team

Bro plz be patient. The last thing we should want is the Spurs actually winning games this year.

Wasn’t this panned as a historically bad draft or nah?

    Why is this surprising?

Might as well trade the pick, or even sell it, rather than use it only one someone who will take a two-way imo. The #35 pick is usually much closer to guaranteed money than a two-way contract.

no way we are committed to branham, wesley, bassey, champ this much..They should be on the hot seat. Not given guaranteed min just
cause they are close to the coaches or management.

I would guess that prices a ton of players out and they're kicking the 35 away.

Spurs just allergic to adding players? I mean, free agency and trades loom LARGE now. Spurs need to add some talent on the roster. Branham, Blake, Bassey, Collins (to a lesser degree), Cedi, Graham, and a couple of others are clearly not going to cut it long term. Theres minutes available. Theres a need for talent.
