And you guys are still really reading anything Mr Body says? Once I started coming back up here after Wemby was drafted I pretty quickly realized he was the same as he's always been. I mean, if you still want to drink from his boomer fire hose go right ahead.

It was never worth the time. It's not worth the time now.

Some of you are hillarious with their Tre Jones is a legit NBA player takes and even more with your ad hominem reflex

"Bunch of idiots who don't think like me!!" "I can't believe I live in a world with diff pov!!"

Using last season when he was the least bad solution as an example...

If we only had to play the RS, Tre Jones would be a great PG, but thing is as soon as POs come and he's scouted, he becomes unplayable...

Ok he can bring the ball past the line contrary to Beno, but once he does it he's a liability that allows opp teams to dble team Wemby and on defense any player above 6'2 can score at will on him.

    Let's give him an extention!!

    How about Keldon Johnson?

Rode loyal with the firm through tanks, being played out of position, and physical demands of slimming up and yet he's still contributing and brings good energy.

What a family man for the Spurs regardless of how it all turns out and all this from a #29? Pretty impressive considering his limitations and the situations he was pulled through. Very solid performance tonight and hope he can be that general scoring punch role consistently.

    The Spurstalk back and forths
I mean you already know. This place has always been about the posters that think they know so much more than anyone else. Let me type a wall of text take that really says nothing at all.

There are only a few posters I will read long takes from. The rest of them just like to hear themselves talk and I just scroll past what they say. Like, why would I read anything Mr Body has to say? It's the same horse I've read for 10 years with different players inserted into the argument. There are no real insights there. It's just long-winded, throw away reading. People get into back and forths with him for no reason. It's a complete waste of time.

I like Keldon a lot and think ppl take for granted his mindset, energy and constant positive at ude. He's the one that had the toughest path since Wemby was drafted

Do people realistically think Tre Jones is going to be here long term? The Spurs don’t view him as a starter and they’ll continue to find ways to upgrade the backup point position if they haven’t done that already with Wesley or Castle. It’s so obvious and I don’t know why people who think otherwise need to ridicule others. Hardcore fan of Tre much? People cling to their favorites way too hard, especially for guys like Tre and Collins. Newsflash: those guys are lesser versions of players the Spurs have let go in the past.

Didn't see the game but from the boxscore looks like Steph Collins was in mid-season form.

How did Cody Williams look at game speed say, compared to some unknown 12-year old?

He did fine offensively although three of his buckets were from THE EXACT SAME SPOT ON THE FLOOR right outside the paint within a minute because of turrlbe defense.

    Defensively, lol.

Lots of fun for a preseason game. Can we get that Keldon all the time? And that court vision by CP3 was impressive. Good stuff, not enough Castle though ...

If Jones isn't getting you a first of some sort, then why not just keep him long term as a safe point?

I think it’s time to move off the idea that Collins is a legit stretch 5. He’s still a skilled interior scorer, decent passer, such that he can add value to the team
