Blogging is something that is really an amazing thing though, it allows you to 1) post your insights on various ideals and if people want to read they can

2) just allow you to let off steam

3) easier for me than writing a paper journal

facethejury.com and thedilly.com revolutionized these kind of websites. When I was a Mod for Dilly, we used to have wars with FTJ all the time. Myspace wasn't , and still isn't. They got butt ed by MSN and that's why they're so popular now.

The soul purpose for these places was to unite teenagers, and get them out of porno and to commune* with eachother more. To talk about your school problems, and such. But the modern pervert and attention has pretty much ruined that for teens. Now, all sorts of ages can be found on them. Thedilly.com last summer went to an 18+ only site, and now supports premium users to post their nudes in thier private section.

Thus, eliminating the whole purpose of these sites to begin with. Pervs and attention s ruined it for the teenagers who now are on all of them asking for pics trading noodz and defeating the purpose. But that's America for you. And that's why I quit Mod'ing and just left that . Yet still nobody cares, they just wanna click for a larger view of that one girls s, or, that one dudes tight stomach. It's pathetic and largely calling those places, a place to meet new friends is a lie. It's a place to flirt now.

I blog but that's about it. My main concern about it was because I had a daughter who gets on the internet and watch for sites like that.
Not that it's particularly a bad site but I want to know if there's any issues at all.

I do not allow my little cousins on those websites. They are breeding nests for child molestors and if you check out the forums and sometimes private messages, you'd see why.

I can't tell you how many innocent girls would PM me when I was a Mod for Dilly asking me what "this" was cause some guy PM'd them something nasty.

The net makes kids grow up faster than they need to. And there is no excuse for what goes on there. They ALL need to be 18+, and the government is working on making it that way.

I think you have a skewed view on things.

One of the first things to happen anytime you have a place that involves people communicating on the iternet is flirting. Wasn't face the jurty a site where you could go rate pictures?
