San Antonio was desperate for center just like Dallas was. They both overpaid for centers. Centers in general are getting overpaid all across the board. I don't think San Antonio can win a championship with Duncan as the full time center.

Rasho isn't an All Star and he may not be worth the contract he was offered, but he has earned being a starter and he helps his team score and defend.

you stupid fux, Rasho does what he gets paid for. 20 minutes of solid D and hits some open shots. If he got as many FGA's and minutes as Tim or the others he would average about 18 n 9 boards. 12 good players cannot all get 35 minutes a game. Jesus christ some of you are amazing how you can hate on world champs. Beno n Barry would even get 15 points a game if they payed 30 minutes.

If the Spurs and the Heat make it to the Finals, it will be worth it to have Rasho (and Nazr can just sit, cuz even though I like him, he cant play Shaq). If the Spurs and Pistons make it to the Finals, Rasho's slow ass better be sittin!
The spurs have not won a championship with Rasho starting and I don't see that changing.

Why is Rasho still a Spur? Because he can come in and play tough D on KG in the closing minutes and get key offensive rebounds and set screens on consecutive plays for Manu, and what not.

scola n javko takes two spots, we have a 2nd rounder pick, so either 1 or 2 players stay or we replace them with trades.
Horry came off the bench. Duncan can play backup center but I was saying that he can't play center full time. Dirk can also play backup center but you don't want either of them to play all their minutes there. Duncan is much better at power forward.
Against the Pistons he could. Seeing as Horry played 7 more mpg than Nazr while coming off the bench, the conclusions are pretty easy to draw.
The main differences between 04-05 and 03-04?
1) Horry showed up.
2) We didn't play Shaq and a heallthy Malone.

Any person that REALLY knows the game can see that Rasho does lots of the so-called "dirty work"---i.e., he's constantly setting screens for teammates like Manu/Tony, alters shots. I like Nazr but he has so much to learn about the Spurs' defensive schemes. They both have their weaknesses. Can't you just deal with it?? And if Rasho sucks so bad, why the then does Pop even play him????
