I have had an epiphany.
I think I'm about ready to forgive the person I hate. See people, meditating is a good thing. Y'all should try it sometime.
I think instead of hating this person, I should thank her for making me a resilient person. Cuz just like I know many of you all have gone through tough crap in your lives, and some will in the future, we have the ability to rise above it all. It's amazing if you think about it... how us humans are capable of living through and back and being able to live through it and survive and adapt to it. If we didn't have problems or difficulties, we wouldn't be able to share wisdom or have faith... in ourselves and in others. It's amazing how life molds us each and everyday. How every person we come in contact with has the ability to touch our lives, make us think differently, make us change.
Some come into our lives and crush any speck of happiness we had... And it's hard to see through the glass that is our life because it becomes tainted with so many fears and uncertainties. But then we realize the strength to fight it comes from within... and when we see that strength coming out of us, that courage, we become amazed at what we are capable of.
I've also thought of how the people that hurt us usually are hurt a lot more themselves. Humans are generally good.. those who aren't just turn bad because of things they aren't able to endure. And I feel sorry for those who can't.
And those who said we have to move on and not hold grudges... you were all right. Rising up from the things that hurt us is the best thing that can happen to us. We find a strength we never thought we could have.
It's just beautiful.
I like this quote:
“Thought of the incomprehensible sequence of changes and chances that make up a life, all the beauties and horrors and absurdities whose conjunctions create the uninterpretable and yet divinely significant pattern of human destiny.”
- Aldous Huxley
Anyway, I didn't mean to go all poetic on you guys... that wasn't my intention. I just wanted to share this with all of y'all.
That is all.
