I've been busy and tuned into the bottom of the game blog before looking at the box score. Obviously the Spurs are winning if Manu vs. Tony is the hot topic, yes?

Bruce is having one of those games where he outscores the guy he is defending.

Reminds me of that Kobe game where he dropped 24 and 5 3's on Kobe's ass.

Agreed. Just because someone isn't scoring doesn't mean they aren't still contributing.

TP 10-14 fg. Sickness. It'd be amazing if he was the fg% leader at the end of the season.

I'm not downing Manu, he shows in the most important games. I'm just saying Manu probably couldn't get away with that if it weren't for Tony.

Btw, Manu didn't carry Tony last year. Tony probably should have made the All star game last year.

Perhaps, but I don't think that Manu needs to bow to Tony, or carry his luggage as you say. Manu had a great year last season, but Tony wouldn't need to bow to him either. That's why they call it a "team" sport.

That was when they had a coach, inside presence, a sixth man, et al.

One day, and maybe soon, Tim will settle into a third cog role, a la David, Kareem, etc.

    Go Manu! Go Tony!

Oberto misses 3 FTs. He's officially a Spur now. Argh.

If the Spurs were making their FTs, this game would be a blowout.
