    So this amounts to the Spurs wanting to trade Brent and the Warriors wanting to trade Fisher, but one of the teams not wanting what they would get.

    Fisher was clutch, but he's aged too much now. A fourth PG is little too much, too.

    For trades to be considered past the deadline, do the basics of the trade have to be given to the L before the original deadline?? Or could they call up right now with a new trade and ask for more time?

    Some paperwork has to be submitted that they are working on something and then they can be granted an extension.

    You'll see a couple more trades trickle down. The Malik trade wasn't finish until a couple hours after the deadline, IIRC.
