I got your toolbox right *here*.
I use the Statistics Toolbox. And maybe if I programmed my ass off for the next 6 months straight, I can come up with something a tenth as slick as SPSS's prepackeged programs for surivival analysis and logistic regression. And then I'd still have to try to match the graphics packages.
For signal analysis type of stats, MATLAB wins. But not for life sciences/biological/social science statistics.
